Depending on what kind of games you're looking for, GOG is right up there with Big Fish for being safe.

flutist, I found this add-on, WOT (Web of Trust), which helps determine if a site is safe. It's actually a rating system composed by users who have visited various sites. If a site is safe, a green circular icon is displayed in your browser window, usually in the upper portion of window. And if a site is questionable, or unsafe, a red or orange circular icon is displayed. I have been using it for some time, now, and so far I haven't picked up any real nasty bugs. It even tells you which sites are safe and/or unsafe/questionable if you Google something.
If something gets your goat, it just proves you have a goat to get.
