Joe, I am never cooking turkey the 'old' way again. Running out for Scotch!

Yard kid called at 8:15 ugh. Thank goodness I was actually up and awake. He's only spotted once a month now since he started working for IKEA. He's doing so good there! I've actually got some hope he might make it in life. He has to be in this area for his DUI classes. He's been working on finishing them for THREE years. He's spent 2 stints in jail for non-compliance and finally is getting them done this time. So he's looking for some quick cash while he's around. Also it's end of month so he's short on cash. Happily, both I and my neighbor have some work for him. Easy money. Dirty, messy work we can't/won't do ourselves so it's great he keeps in touch. We first hired him when he was 16 and he just walked up to the door asking for work. He is turning TWENTY TWO in May. How the time flys!

Wet here. We actually got some rain. Enough to wet the ground and make every weed and plant reach for the sky. Amazing how just a bit of rain makes everything sprout. I'm always in awe of nature.

Still not finding any food that makes me want more. Empty freezer, almost empty fridge, but I did replace the mustard and ketchup with updated ones. Got some Cream of Wheat and Oat something or other and some milk, but that's about it. Going shopping this afternoon for salad. Maybe cool and crunchy will whet my appetite. Really need some protein too, but the cheese I bought just tastes blah. Sargento brand. Not much flavor. I like it mild, but this was just about like eating wax. Interesting. Gave it to my friend who eats anything and everything. I'm going to get some swiss/american mixed and make some toasted cheese sammiches on dill rye bread. Sounds yummy.

Off to write a 'to do' list for the yard kid.

WARNING! This person is extremely blonde...please type SLOWLY.

Good afternoon boomies! I thought I posted here but I guess I never submitted here. I took a new class this morning that I'm pretty sure I left a piece of me there. lol You could have scraped me off the floor ten minutes into the hour. rotfl I made it through although I nearly had to have someone lift the barbell over my head the last few times, I had to get it on my shoulders. It's going to hurt in the morning.

I met Sam for lunch since I turned her down a few times for lack of time. Now I am plastered in my seat to keep working.

I hope you all are enjoying the day! Almost Friday.

birthday to your hubby Darlene!
