When you start the game, you should see some Controls over on the right.
Look for the one that says Config. Click Config.
One of the Controls on the Config screen is for Mouse Sensitivity.

Not sure what you mean about the color, but not all of the game locations are colorful.

Let me put my two cents in,Dianne. As far as the colors go, this is STILL an "old" game. The graphics are not even close to today's technology. The important thing for ME is the STORY. I, too picked this Tex game from the choices that GOG gave me, even though I have the original boxed version. I'm once again enjoying it immensely, "bad" graphics (colors), not withstanding. If you have played the TESLA demo at all you will see what GOOD is. ENJOY!

Dianne, I just finished playing UAKM, and I fully enjoyed it for the fourth od fifth time. As far as the graphics go, I think that they were SUPERB for those "old" days. ENJOY!

Dianne,
I changed the title of your thread because it has to do with Under a Killing Moon and not Tesla Effect.

Under a Killing Moon is a 20 year old game, and though it may look clear in a YouTube Window, it's not going to look clear when played full screen on a modern high resolution monitor. I think the game is 640x480 resolution, which was a high resolution back in 1994 when it was first released. Also the cut scenes may not look sharp because the original game used interlacing.

If the mouse is still too fast, you may be able to slow it down by adjusting the speed in Control Panel as well as in the game options.

Let us know if you want to continue working with it. Of course some people can never get used to the interface, which certainly has a learning curve.

I hope you find something you can enjoy playing. I don't think Tesla Effect will use the same interface, so you should still be good with that.
