Delusions of grandeur make me feel a lot better about myself.

These great questions and answers are from the days when the Hollywood Squares game show responses were spontaneous, not scripted, as they are now.

Peter Marshall was the host asking the questions, of course.

Q. Paul, what is a good reason for pounding meat?
A. Paul Lynde: Loneliness!
(The audience laughed so long and so hard it took up almost 15 minutes of the show!)

Q. Do female frogs croak?
A. Paul Lynde: If you hold their little heads under water long enough.

Q. If you're going to make a parachute jump, at least how high should you be?
A. Charley Weaver: Three days of steady drinking should do it.

Q. True or False, a pea can last as long as 5,000 years.
A. George Gobel: Boy, it sure seems that way sometimes.

Q. You've been having trouble going to sleep. Are you probably a man or a woman?
A. Don Knotts: That's what's been keeping me awake.

Q. According to Cosmopolitan, if you meet a stranger at a party and you think that he is attractive, is it okay to come out and ask him if he's married?
A. Rose Marie: No wait until morning.

Q. Which of your five senses tends to diminish as you get older?
A. Charley Weaver: My sense of decency.

Q. In Hawaiian, does it take more than three words to say 'I Love You'?
A. Vincent Price: No, you can say it with a pineapple and a twenty.

Q. What are 'Do It,' 'I Can Help,' and 'I Can't Get Enough'?
A. George Gobel: I don't know, but it's coming from the next apartment.

Q. As you grow older, do you tend to gesture more or less with your hands while talking?
A. Rose Marie: You ask me one more growing old question Peter, and I'll give you a gesture you'll never forget.

Q. Paul, why do Hell's Angels wear leather?
A. Paul Lynde: Because chiffon wrinkles too easily.

Q. Charley, you've just decided to grow strawberries. Are you going to get any during the first year?
A.. Charley Weaver: Of course not, I'm too busy growing strawberries.

Q. In bowling, what's a perfect score?
A. Rose Marie: Ralph, the pin boy.

Q. It is considered in bad taste to discuss two subjects at nudist camps. One is politics, what is the other?
A. Paul Lynde: Tape measures.

Q. During a tornado, are you safer in the bedroom or in the closet?
A. Rose Marie: Unfortunately Peter, I'm always safe in the bedroom.

Q. Can boys join the Camp Fire Girls?
A. Marty Allen: Only after lights out.

Q. When you pat a dog on its head he will wag his tail. What will a goose do?
A. Paul Lynde: Make him bark?

Q. If you were pregnant for two years, what would you give birth to?
A. Paul Lynde: Whatever it is, it would never be afraid of the dark.

Q. According to Ann Landers, is there anything wrong with getting into the habit of kissing a lot of people?
A. Charley Weaver: It got me out of the army.

Q. It is the most abused and neglected part of your body, what is it?
A. Paul Lynde: Mine may be abused, but it certainly isn't neglected..

Q. Back in the old days, when Great Grandpa put horseradish on his head, what was he trying to do?
A. George Gobel: Get it in his mouth.

Q. Who stays pregnant for a longer period of time, your wife or your elephant?
A. Paul Lynde: Who told you about my elephant?

Q. When a couple have a baby, who is responsible for its sex?
A. Charley Weaver: I'll lend him the car, the rest is up to him

Q. Jackie Gleason recently revealed that he firmly believes in them and has actually seen them on at least two occasions. What are they?
A. Charley Weaver: His feet.

Q. According to Ann Landers, what are two things you should never do in bed?
A. Paul Lynde: Point and laugh

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!! welcome easter

It was another crazy work day for me. I was scheduled 10 to 7, and I worked 10 to 8.

My department manager had to leave due to a family emergency.

I'm going to work today in his place, and I'll be off Monday instead of today. yes

So today (Sunday), I work 10:00 to 6:00. Since it's Easter I'm not sure how busy we'll be.

After work (Saturday), I had to go to Wally World and shop, so again it's late and I've had a very long day. tired

HELP MR WIZZARD! I don't want to be a lawnmower salesman any more. shocked

Happy egg hunting everyone. thumbsup

Super Sunday and Happy Easter Ya'll chocobunny

I was a bad mom this morning. Called daughter and woke her up to wish her Happy Easter! bunny

I think we are going to catch a ball game this afternoon. We planned to go last night but I was still feeling wonky so we stayed home and watched Ironman 3. Enjoyed it, but there were some things I thought were a bit strange. wave

Good morn and a happy hoppy day to all.
Missed church this a.m. so think I'll compensate by doing a bit more yard work...after I game a bit. Still chilly out and the sun only peaks through occasionally.
Ana, in reply the dogs are doing pretty good; Skye is about ll and 1/2 but still tries to bounce around like a puppy. Shawnee got some kind of bite on her eyelid last month but the swelling went down considerably but still think I'll have the bet check it next week. Just not healing the way it should. Rebel, well, what can I say, he's a Rebel.
See ya all later.

L4L and Ana, hows your pups doing? Sorry I didn't ask sooner, and I almost forgot to thank those that sent me e-cards. After wading through over 400 emails once I got back on the internet, I was able to enjoy them.

It's strange I was thinking about TexasLady last week. She lived in Round Rock which is up interstate 35 a bit from me. Yeah we oldies here miss her.

About the dumb PS4. Am going to try a new hi-powered HDMI 1 cable first and see if that will fix it, if not I'll buy a brand new TV and PS 4 and wrap up all the old stuff, cupboard them and forget about them. The PS3 works on a different TV here but the 4 won't. And neither one works on the big TV I use for PS games. So maybe by-by. But this time my granddaughter can hook everything up. As is evident I've had a most chalenging morning because also I'm setting up my new Jura capresso impressa J6 coffee maker. Half the job was finding the english instructions, but there they were in the very back of the manuel.

All right everybody, single line, no shoving for the best cup of home brewed coffee ever. Boy, it's a wakener.

Happy Easter all -reflect on our world, our life and life of other living things

Crazy day here.

More police last night. I'd post it on Sorta's Neighborhood thread but I can't figure out how to not stack posts and indicate new stuff???

Strange car just pulled up out front and an older guy got out, got into another car that pulled up and they made a U-turn and left. Weird. No clues to that one.

Local drug dealer 2 doors over in the 'Apartments' is now getting cars parking in front of my house and walking down to get drugs. And they also park here and walk 3 doors the other way to do the same at a place where the drug dealer also supplies. Gah! Getting tired of it all and especially when it's AT my house where they park. Not good.

My front porch now has a dirty, icky rug that came out of my spare room. Gotta let it dry out (had to hose off some 'stuff' and then vacuum it and roll it up for storage until I can drag it out and wash it in my driveway in the summer heat so it dries fast. Gonna be fun barefooting in on a soapy rug. Done it a million times in 35 years. Just gotta wait for the right weather (oh and get my friend's help to drag out 3 carpets for washing).

Computer hard drive still hiccuping, but in desperation I finally POUNDED on the case and guess what? Three times now, that worked. Gotta go get a BIG hammer. Must be some connection loose in there.

Off to keep tabs on the empty house and see if any more police arrive today.

WARNING! This person is extremely blonde...please type SLOWLY.
