Hi. I am in chapter 2 trying to get the hammer so I can get the mask. I have the chisel and strange cucumbers. I can't seem to find/do anything else.

Did you check the bottle that is in the chest where you got the chisel? Did you leave the chest open?
If so - you can use it to distract Owlrich so you can get the hammer.

I did check the bottle and I both left the chest open and closed it, however, this gives me something to focus on again instead of being totally lost. I'll let you know.

Thanks MaG!

Tried again and then it sunk in. Still took a couple of tries to get the right position. Have made it to the spider web in the maze but I have to work tomorrow so time for bed.

Thanks again.

Okay, I'm stuck in the elemental spirits riddle puzzle in chapter 4. I don't know that there would be any hints you can give me (if so, please do) but before I look at the w/t please confirm:

Each riddle has a different answer (no answer can be used more than one time).

When they are all correct something will automatically happen? Or is there something else I will need to do to know the answers are correct?

Do they need to be done in the order in which the spirit (or whoever he is) gives the answers?

If, let's say, I decide to just switch 2 answers and that makes them all correct, will that be sufficient or will I have to go through all 6 answers again with the new changes? (I hope that makes sense.)

I have tried many different answers over several hours now. I only feel sure about one answer (fire). I feel I should be able to get this and don't want to look at the w/t but I do want to move on in the game. Will give it one more go before consulting the w/t (another night).

Thanks.

- different answers - yes.
- automatically happen - yes, something happens when correctly answered.
- order - I believe so since the questions usually refers to/clued in by previous response.
-switch answers - I cannot remember if this is possible.

Thanks MaG! I don't know if I'll get to play tonight but at least I know I am understanding things right.

Well, I did not have to look at the w/t. Had a girlfriend and my brother give me their answers, neither were right, but I worked from there and just switched a couple of things and got it!

I'm baaack.

I'm stuck again. I have 6 spirits and I've been in that little plant room two times. I've tried the spirits on the hexagon in the abyss and taken them back out (except air who won't move). I can't seem to find or do anything else.

There is a glowing spirit looking ball on the floor of the main hall that is active but doesn't do anything for me. I hope that isn't a glitch.

Can you direct me in some way without giving full w/t instructions to me please?

Thanks.

If I'm reading the walkthrough correctly, you do need to put the element spirits in the hexagon. They need to be placed in a certain order, the clue for which can be found in two other places in the game.

Let us know if you need more help. I tried to keep this pretty vague. smile

A certain order hm? Okay Marian, I will give that a try, probably tomorrow.
Thanks for the hint!

We do have a walkthrough here if that is what you want: Dark Eye: Memoria.

Have fun!
