I just noticed RealMyst Masterpiece is now available at GOG.
http://www.gog.com/game/real_myst_masterpiece_edition

Although the listed price at the moment is $17.99, when I went to check out they'd given me a $6.00 discount -- so it was only $11.99. I'm not sure if that's because I'd already bought the original Real Myst from them or some other reason. I didn't see a $6.00 off sale mentioned before getting to the checkout.

Yet mysteriously they say the game will work on XP, while the only version of XP that will recognize 4GB of RAM is the rare and seldom used 64-bit version.

It's possible that the 4 GB requirement is for Vista and later, while XP doesn't need as much. Consider the minimum specs just to run Windows itself with Vista and later are 1GB of memory, while the minumum for XP is only 64MB.

It might be worth trying a demo of the game on your computer -- especially if you have a good video card.

I just got the email about their latest sale, and that's where I saw it for the first time. It was listed at the bottom of the email in the "New on GOG.com" section, although the website says it was released on Feb. 5.

I also got the $11.99 price, and I had also bought the original Real Myst from GOG, which is probably the reason for the discount. The line that listed the $6.00 discount at checkout said "Real Myst Masterpiece Edition Upgrade Promo"
