Is there a Memento Mori 2 walkthrough in the works Mag? Please, please!! Yours are the best! I don't want to buy until one is here (there aren't any others online either, text or Video).

Barry

Barry,

I'm working on one game right now. When partly done with it - I'll give MM2 a try. So if you can wait maybe several days more.

No problem MaG. In spite of it supposedly being released yesterday Steam sys it's on Pre-order basis. You're the best.

Barry

MaG, I understood this but plan to start without the WT, probably not going too far duh .

The last thing I want to do is to put pressure on you, sorry if I sounded like I was in a hurry.

mcc, I am doing video playthrough of the game and I can help you out when you are stuck... I'm still in Act 1 though, didn't get very far yet because I have 3 unfinished games on top of this one.

Just start playing the game. Take your time with the WT MaG. I'm not in any rush. I know you have other things to do. I'm glad I'm not as busy as you.

On the right side you always have to use the top one. I solved it by using the left side. Just keep trying. Took me quite a while to match three prints. Just keep on clicking until you get a b.

You look for printings until you have six.

After this open the card with your 6 fingerprints + 3 other given too you.

In the right side put the suspect fingerprint, now compare this with others you have got, look for similarities, some have none, start with one, longish like a thick line first, next one with cloudy right side and the last one, quite big and clear. Remember that fingerprints maybe upside down (and are) respect to yours.

Phew. Finally done it!
I hate stuff like this in adventure games. I just wanna get on with the story! Wish they'd put in a skip button!
Thanks guys.
I'm sure I'll be back here soon and looking forward to one of MaG's MaGnificent Walkthroughs!

Hmmm. Funny you should say that! I don't even know what I'm supposed to be looking for and the controls are pretty clunky which really doesn't help. Please let me know how to solve it kjos if you haven't thrown your pc at the wall by then. Aaaaagh!

Hi everyone,

With regards to the sheets on the projector, here's a hint:

Click to reveal..
The trick with the sheets on the projector is to read between the lines. Try to forget about orientation, because some text is written diagonally. Remember that you can rotate the sheets as well as flip them.

There is some writing that flows coherently across all the sheets, try to find it! smile

P.S. For those who are desperate for a walkthrough, I have found that with these German games that get released much later in the English speaking world, German language walkthroughs often exist on the internet, and after letting Google translate the page(s), some help can be gleaned in parts where you are super stuck. Also, you sometimes have an entirely new puzzle with trying to figure out what is being said...

kjos, I also found the video walkthrough moses123 found and realised that's what I had to do. Ok it's in German but the visual was enough. Gonna give it a go now.
Thanks guys.

Hi all,

Actually I was referring to written walkthroughs, I find the video ones to be too easy, but anyway.

Kjos, try superimposing one character from one sheet, upon another similar looking character from another. So for example:

Click to reveal..
find two C's from two different sheets that share the same orientation, and place them on top of one another and see if that helps.

or if you guys are bored and want to move on tell me and I'll stop with the hints...

moses123,never stop with the hints at all. Keep them coming. That is what this posting is fore.
I'm watching part 8 video now and still can't figure out how to do the puzzle. Why does it have to be so hard.

Jolly good.

Click to reveal..
You're looking for two names. Find capital C's to start with the overlapping. One of the names has two capital letters in it...

Still having trouble with the puzzle?
Click to reveal..
OK, a more explicit hint... you need two names, one on top, on at the bottom, and then a bank name in the middle... so 3 lines... And if I remember correctly, only 5 out of the 6 sheets are needed for the puzzle

The plant pot has nothing to do with the mustache, but it has something to do with another part of the disguise... crazy

Click to reveal..
To knock down the plant pot, you need to repair the snake...
And for the mustache, you need to make one yourself... maybe the gallery has something that you need...

look at the names match the names up .You have to move the papers with the mouse and you can flip the pages with the buttons on the left.It is very hard as you have to get them so they match exactly .I was at it for about 2 days I was trying to match the lists up and it dos nt work till you get the names .We all look at things differant .This puzzal is killing me I have put them like in the peom .How they are in the tapestrey .I am ready kick some thing 'and I am going to loosee my temper so I am giving it a break or there will be a perniment break it is so fustrating .I hate games like this is nt fun'I am so dozy .Penny dropped .They are all mixed up on the tapestrey .Read the poem and it teells you ther order they go in and what belongs to what .Some times I could hit myself lol

dragonuk44, the picture gives the shapes and colors but not the order, this is detailed in the "documents" you have collected in the room.

I couldn't open the box in Zenzele's place without following the video walkthrough. Nor the safe in the Drunken Sailor. No idea where those numbers came from! I'm now trying to figure out how to fix the gas leak in the church. This is a really hard game.

I am stuck in ACT IV in the kitchen. I need to fix the fuse on the secret door but can't. I am missing the screwdriver. Does anyone know where it is? Thanks.

lynthorpe, The numbers in the Drunken Sailor come from

Click to reveal..
checking the sticker that covers the safe, looking for the recipe of that drink and the price of each ingredient

it took me long time to figure this.

To open the box there is a tutorial on that type of problems HERE

I am not in the church yet, cannot help there.

I agree with dragonuk44. I don't like puzzles where you can't move on til you've solved it. If they're going to put these in, at least put a skip option in like in the Deponia series so you can at least progress if you get really frustrated with it. Getting the spotlight in the correct position took me about an hour and drove me crazy. I'm now trying to figure out how to move the ladder in the construction site. I've got the brick but can't reach the padlock.

Been at sheets on the projector for about 3 days now and can't get it right. I looked at MaG WT but still no help. Ready to give up on this game. I wish they had a skip so I can move on. thanks

kjos, this may sound stupid, I know, but it took me sometime to realize I could turn the pages (pressing right button) not just flip them over. One needs each page in the exact position to be able to overlap them.

I am now totally stuck with putting the clues together in the yard with keira. Managed to get the first 3 groups of 3 but absolutely cannot figure out the next group of 3. I've tried everything with everything now and I'm pretty sure I haven't missed any clues.
I checked out the german video walkthrough but it seems to skip this bit. The end of Act 3 part 1 has them still trying to help the drunk then the beginning of part 2 has them somewhere else apparently in darkness. I've tried leaving the yard but Lara says no. I've checked the area around the back door of the restaurant but there doesn't appear to be anything there.
Can anyone help?

lynthorpe,I know what it's like to be stuck. I hate it. I wish there to be a skip. It wouldn't be that hard for the makers to put in a skip.

Phew. Finally got that one sorted. To be honest this sort of thing is just plain boring. Makers can use this as a way of padding out the game therefore meaning there's less actually content and story. Ah well, we soldier on. Have a feeling this next scene is also going to drive me crazy!

I must be really weird - I am enjoying this game (if not for the time pressure) because it gives me the same feeling when I play the old style adventures like Aura and other games by Detalion. It tickles the brain cells. I even get the same glitches. lol I had 2 glitches in Chapter 3.

Forgot - Richard - I sent you a saved game.

I'm enjoying it too...if in a slightly weird frustrated kinda way.
Thank heaven you're on the case now MaG. Hopefully that means a decent walkthrough soon.
I am now in the restaurant playing as Keira and currently have no idea what I'm supposed to be doing. Something to do with table numbers and the letters on the racks I guess tho I haven't figured out what yet.

lynthorpe, you need to take pictures of the tables with digits (numbers really) and match them with the poster on the wall for each table
Click to reveal..
There are 4 tables, 3 downstairs one upstairs. Some tables need uv

I gave hammer and nails to Yle and went back to the crypt and tried to continue down the walkway but the bottom part is still dark.I don't see any damaged cable. Why isn't the bottom part light up. The WT says continue down the walkway. Thanks
Richard

There is an arrow that goes to the dark side and one arrow that goes down to the walkway.
Press the tab key to see which one will get you to walk further on the lit walkway. luck

There is no arrow going to the dark side. Pressed the tab key and nothing shows up. All I see at the bottom of the screen is dark cellar. I'm ok now I had the two blue on wrong. Sorry MaG

Enjoy the game. Be sure to give Yle the hammer and nails first.

Finally finished a couple of days ago. Wouldn't have done it without MaG's walkthrough tho. The crane puzzle drove me bonkers...even with the pic it took me ages.
Thanks MaG
