More Tom Swifties.(For example "I'll have a martini," said Tom, drily.) As ever, grovelling apologies for any re-runs.

Some of these are very clever and quite tough, so being all heart, I've given you first letter and length as a starter grin·

-1. "I hate right-justified text," said Tom r-------.
-2. "You have the right to remain silent," said Tom a----------.
-3. "I have a mitral valve prolapse," said Tom b--------------.
-4. "I'm keeping tabs on my drinking," said Tom b-------. ** see hint below
-5. "Adherents of my religion don't all have to believe the same thing," Tom d------.
-6. "This is how Agatha Christie was murdered," Tom d--------.
-7. "I think it's time I had a perm", said Tom l--------.
-8. "I only get Newsweek", said Tom t---------.
-9. “All my efforts were for nothing,” Tom said n--------.
-10. “Guess what's in my locket,” said Mrs Swifty i------------.

** Hint for #4:
a) Think of a slang terms for a drink (begins with "b", not "booze")
b) Think of a word that means to keep count of (begins with "t", not "total")

To waste one second of one's life is a betrayal of one's self.
I wonder what's on television...?

Great answers (mostly!). smile

butterflybabe - feel feally bad about being a birthday party-pooper, but it's a coupla letters too short. What's another name for a locket? think birthday
