Rowan there are a total of 14 Bloodstones. Since you have 11 and can't get to the Black cove one there are still 2 that you are missing. I think you need only 12 to open the door. Perhaps you could check the locations to determine which 2 you don't have yet. They would still be accessible.

I know, oldman. I just can't for the life of me find all the locations I have been to. Many locations are unmarked and since some of those quests were done quite a while ago it would require inching my way across the map just to maybe finding them again.

Looney, I tend to overwrite saves just to keep from scrolling. I figured I would be safe with 10 saves.

Hi Rowan

Thanks for you kind words. I had to use a walkthrough to get through the quest with the exploding room. I suppose this is what you mean? or? I must admit I never had any problems with this, especially after reading that you just use use the Rift travel system to transport your party to the beginning of the cave.

As said, I find the journal or log very badly organised. There needs to be a journal for the main quests and a journal for the sidequest. And preferably for each major area, I find. I also find that there really need to be a marker or something else which shows you where you have have found the 12-14 stones, you'll need.

As for your problem, Rowan, I'm aware of it. On the Larian forums, a guy? did experience the same as you have done. And the answer was that the switch probably was damaged in the explosion.

I'm leaving the Divinity game for now. I have downloaded Gothic to replay it. Mad from the other thread just got me all excited about this game all over again. I just need to invest in more fingers for the keyboard controls. lol

I so do admire all of you who can play these action games my fingers would get so stuck in the key board
and I always thought it would be so useful if one was a piano player.
