Just gone back to this game. Not sure if I'm on day 10 or 11 but I am at this utterly wretched timed puzzle where you have to get the 3 frequencies. I watched on Youtube and all he seemed to do was get all of the waves to turn blue. When I do this nothing actually happens. Is it a simple as that or am I missing something. It doesnt help that on a slow machine turning those dials is very unresponsive and takes a lot of messing around just to get them to move.

I'm still no further forward in this game. Anyone got a save game for just after the frequencies thing?

Well I found a way to edit my save file to change the game to Casual Mode so I could skip the puzzle. I didnt realise it was the final one(what a stinker to finish with:-)). Really enjoyed the game but it went out on a low for me.

Glad you managed to finish the game, mj2c. A shame about that last puzzle, though. Stumpers right at the end of a game are so frustrating.

I don't mind a difficult puzzle it's when the game interface is so clunky and slow (which is the last thing you need on a timed puzzle) I get a bit disappointed. Even with the solution written down I still couldnt do it in the time allowed. The last game I played (Moebius) I didn't finish for the same reason. You would think both JJ and the Tex team, with their history in the genre would know by now that these things are tolerated at best, and if they are there then they shouldn't be the climax of a game.
Anyhow, on to the 2nd part of Broken Sword:-)

Yes, that Moebius maze had me spitting feathers. I'm not a huge fan of mazes.

Enjoy Broken Sword. smile
