Looking for a SAVE.
Stuck at the begining of the game.
Am unable to open the panel hiding the thermostat on the third floor at the hotel, where Susan Webber is hiding (room 313).
I know what I should do to make it work, but it is not working.

I don't have any saves this early in the game, unfortunately.

Have you done everything necessary up to this point, and did the interact screen appear when you started the sequence? Sometimes a sequence/puzzle won't activate or work properly if an action prior to that has been overlooked.

Are you making sure to hold down the left mouse button while fast-clicking with the right mouse button? Then, once the panel "gives", keep the left mouse button depressed while you move it across to the right, to remove the panel.

Otherwise let's wait and see if anyone has a save to send you.

My saves are not labeled. I can send you a group of them if you want - tell me.

As Rushes stated - you might not have triggered it yet:
- have you done the deduction and learn where the blonde lady is located?
- have you eavesdropped on that room?
- have you seen her through her open window across the alley?

I have deducted, from what I have seen from the alley, that the lighted window on the third floor has to be the room I am looking for, but i did not see her at the window like you said.

Have you eavesdropped on the door? You will then learn that there is a man in the room.
You then adjust the thermostat so that they open the window.
Now - you will be able to see them across the building.

I sent you ALL of my saved game. Be sure to renumber them - (no duplicate numbers.)
