Valiant Hearts "is a game about war, not a war game", about love and tragedy, compassion and survival according to what I've read and the previews I've seen are all positive.
There are between 3 and 5 playable characters, among them an older German soldier, a Belgian nurse, an American soldier...and a dog who follows at least one of them and helps through the game.
It is done in a comic book style which I don't ordinarily like but here it looks just right.
I've seen it described as a puzzle/adventure game and while there does appear to be some action in it - the one sequence I've seen looks very mild and easily doable - I'd say that's what it probably is.
Valiant Hearts isn't out yet; it's made by Ubisoft and will be released on June 25th.
Here's a preview from Gamespot.
Here's another from IGN.
Here's a Developers' Diary video from YouTube
It's an unusual premise for a game.
I hope our adventurous reviewers on GB take a look at it.

Gil.

Hi Gil, I did not announce their press releases because it's an action adventure. I will move it to the DarkSide.

Hi, Ana,
Yes, I am interested.
How can I resist a game with a German Shepherd Dog as one of the main characters, however little he looks like one? grin
But Steam leapt at me when I clicked on Shop.
I see that Gamespot has it as a digital download but I'm highly suspicious of buying it and finding myself with a Steam key, so I'll wait until I find out for certain I can get it free and clear of Steam.

Thank you though, it was nice of you to post that info.
