I am in the mine near the cart loaded w/dynamite.
I am looking for the hotspot to click on the lever to send the cart out into the sea--been here for a week & scanned over every inch of this location. Will somebody please help me - where is the hotspot? What do I do? Thank you.

welcome Robinski to GameBoomers!

The best place for me to see where the hotspot is to stand with the elevator to my right.
Look at the mine cart with the dynamite at far end of the screen.
Wear the gloves.
Move the cursor then to click on the lever just a little to the left of the switch stand between the 2 rail tracks.
Move the cursor to the mine cart to get it going.

Good luck!

I guess it is just no use - I can't do this. I tried to do what you said, when I get Arienne where I think you said, I can't get the view to change to where I can see the cart. When you say with the elevator to my right do you mean my Arienne's right, or right as I look @ the screen? I just don't know how to get through this, I am at the end of my rope. I think that now I have a total of 24 hours here trying to get this stupid thing going! Sorry, MaG - you tried - me too. What now?

Hi Robinski,

I replayed this part and also took a screenshot.

My fault - not too clear on this part.

Click on mine cart so that Ariane will say that the dynamite cart should be thrown on the sea.

After that, open inventory, click on warm glove, then select 'use' so that only one glove will be seen in inventory.

Then click the cursor on lever seen leaning to the left of the center part of the rail track.

I will send you the screen shot after I make it smaller.

Good luck!

Here you go:

Hi MaG - I owe you one! You saved me. I just went in after looking at your last help & boom, off I went! I feel quite sure it had to do somewhat w/the use of one glove & "use", because as soon as I did the one glove thingy, Arienne went right to the spot & set the cart flying! I had come to believe that I was to spend the rest of my natural life looking at that cart, w/Arienne saying "let's try something else".
Thank you MaG from the bottom of my heart, you have no idea how happy I am, thanks to you!

Well you know...once I got out of that mine w/the cart blown up, I thought my troubles were over ... well, wrong. Now I discover that I have to solve the Hanoi Tower Puzzle!?? and mathemetical geniuses don't do well @that! So, I went to Ellison's solution here, & it will not print - only the 3 pegs & the red 1st seven moves box (empty)?? So, I copied the #'s for the 1st seven moves, & now here I am again, because of course, I'm @ a standstill. Do I really have to solve this? Can you send me a copy of the solution by Ellison that will print? When I looked @ all the number sets in that I thought I'd die, but if that's what it takes - guess I'll take a week off & sit here & do it. I just want to get on with it. Help, help, help me please. (Sorry to be a pest!!)

I'll send you a copy of the moves (if you will EMail me) OR you can go to that solution and use the "print screen" key on your keyboard and then open "Paint" and paste it there and print it. Meantime, I'll dig up my copy of that "Hanoi Puzzle" solution. Hang in there! laugh

Here are ALL the moves, including the first 7. You can probably highlight this box and copy and paste to your computer and print or use the " Printer-friendly view of this topic" at the bottom of this screen.

As I recall, there are seven. In REAH it varied up to eight, I think, and each ring adds a LOT of moves. laugh

Finally, 5 days later, here I am back. I received the Hanoi numbers on Sunday, then I discovered that my printer was the reason I could not print the solution. I have now got that issue resolved. Have just finished printing all them numbers, BillyBob, and now am off to go probably to the asylumn attempting to put all those moves on the puzzle. Wish me luck! AND, THANK YOU so very much for your help - you are the greatest!

MaG - You're a doll! After I sent my last post, went to bed & thought about it. After some rest, I restarted that puzzle & slogged my way through it. Have just now finished the game, but I could not have done it without your help! I did not use your save, couldn't have anyway, cause I now just tried what you said & I can't even find that saved games place. & have no clue how you download something like that. I think that before I begin Syberia II, I should take some lessons on how to use this site. Oh well, main thing is that you people are here to help us poor lost souls when we are stranded in our journeys - & that is remarkable!! Thank You.
