I decided to run the software, which I think is invaluable, on my verrry slow computer (HP Win Vista).Had to d/load new version, ran it and it freezes while analyzing browsers. I have to go into task manager to shut it down. I have done this twice and same result. I thought there might be a problem with the software so I ran it on my cyberpower and it worked fine. Any ideas?

Thanks InlandAZ. After doing so, what are the chances the software will run correctly next time? Any idea?

Terri, Adwcleaner may be experiencing a conflict with some other software. Booting in Safe Mode will only boot the essentials needed to start the computer, and may therefor allow Adwcleaner to start and run properly.
If something gets your goat, it just proves you have a goat to get.

I haven't tired yet but love the software, it's a keeper. I have never had any problem with it before, have been using it for a while now. Thanks.
