I dug myself into a couple of holes here, so beware of my attempts to get out evil

The following clues form a word chain. The last three letters of one word form the first three letters of the next word, and the list wraps round from the last word to the first. Mostly straightforward, but there may be some hyphenated or two word answers in there, and a couple that might need the Stitchionary. Plenty there, so feel free to grab two or three smile

-1. Papal headpiece
-2. Balletic pose
-3. Put down
-4. Pertaining to a curve where the sums of the distances of each point in its periphery from two fixed points, the foci, are equal.
-5. Anti-slip protrusion on a horseshoe (Thanks, Mrs Worrier smile )
-6. Having a hydrogen-ion concentration greater than 7
-7. Incapable of being expressed or described in words
-8. The act of invoking divine protection
-9. Fireplace
-10. Delighted; exuberant
-11. Pivot-point
-12. Any cud-chewing mammal
-13. Horned mammal
-14. Having no or few dividing walls
15. Overwhelming victory
16. Means of constructing a composite likeness of a person
-17. Site of first controlled aeroplane flight
-18. Lacking skill or dexterity.
-19. Wooded plateau in SE Belgium, Luxembourg, and NE France: scene of heavy fighting in both World Wars
-20. Snuggled down
-21. Book for recording commercial transactions
-22. Substance for killing micro-organisms
-23. Exactly the same
-24. A unified federal Islamic government for the Muslim world, ruled by an elected head of state
-25. Beta-blocker
-26. Novel by Vladimir Nabokov
-27. Native of a South European nation
-28. Having a violet colour
-29. Property of matter by which it remains at rest or in uniform motion in the same straight line unless acted upon by some external force

To waste one second of one's life is a betrayal of one's self.
I wonder what's on television...?

Sometimes lost is where you need to be. Just because you don't know your direction doesn't mean you don't have one.

I change all my passwords to "incorrect". So whenever I forget, it says, "your password is incorrect".
