Hi,
I'm stuck in Stimulation World-The puzzle with the tiles, and the Whispering Fountain. How do you make them work and I had problems setting the clock in the other room and trying to get the key after the correct times have been set. Please help me so I can get the tiles placed correctly and then get what I am supposed to get after solving this puzzle. I think that I go to the next room and solve the clock puzzle, put I have tried that, and nothing happened. I set the time-12:00-sun(left),6:30(moon), and 3:45(star). No key came out of the compartment on right side!

Thanks,
Linda

Hi Linda,

These puzzles have to be done in order for the next puzzle to be solvable.

The Star puzzle must be solved before the clock puzzle. This is the one at the game board by the sofa.

Whispering Fountain:
1. First you have to turn off the fountain water from next room, the library. AT the library, there's a niche - right of door and use the lever.
2. Go back to fountain and use the lever there to turn the water off. If you have done it correctly, voices will be heard.

From here, you can now do the tile puzzle:
1. The tiles should be face up. Click on (left to right) tiles 3, 5, 2, 2.
2. If correct a dialogue will be heard that are clues to the clock puzzle.

Now get the scroll from the table for another clue to clock puzzle.

Clock puzzle - Be sure that you have applied the star button on the empty hole in the clock. It looks like you did set the clock right and pushed the correct button after the clock changes.

Good luck,
MaG

Hi MaG,
I did the star puzzle prior to completely fixing the door, turned off the fountain from the next room,(where clock is), and then did the tile puzzle. I got the scroll and put it in the wax and got the clue for the clock. I set the clock-12:00-sun-left, 6:30-2 button and 3:45-3-star. Nothing happened! What did I do wrong? I pushed the button right after setting the times, and nothing occured.

I have read 3 Wts, and I did what they said to do, am I missing something, or did a part wrong?

HELP!

Thanks,
Linda

As I recall...... you actually want to set the clock to 2:45, not 3:45. The hands should make a straight line. But I may be wrong. It's been a year since I played it. You also must have completed the puzzle with the flipping voice tiles and solved the spilt wax puzzle first.

Thanks BarcardiJim,
All of the other walk throughs that I have used, mentioned the 3:45 tea time. Thus, I had been setting the last time for that particular time, and nothing happened. When I pushed 2:45-and the compartment opened and I received a key, and a glass and went to find some other interesting items in the simulation!

Again thanks for mentioning that 2:45 tea time being the correct time!

Linda

I have another problem. I am using 3 Wts, and 2 say the same thing and the other mentions going to the museum and then to Gordian Construction, next to Nargile Bar. I went to the Book Bazaar, and Jeremy Carpenter wasn't at any booth, so I went to the museum and then to Gordian Construction, and there was a key pad to enter some numbers. I stopped at that place. I haven't ever been to the Nargile Bar,and is it necessary to do so? What is the correct path to take after going to Emre's apartment and reading about Mehmet's death?
Thanks,

Linda

I can't remember what it is that triggers Carpenter's appearance at the shops, but I don't think he is necessary. He will be by the newsstand if/when he appears. Another talk with the curator might trigger this.

A trip to the Nargile bar is necessary, as that is where you get the clue for the keycode. Note the fruit and refer to the book from the duffel bag. It may now be possible to explore the Nargile back room as well. Throughout most of the game going down those stairs results in your death, so make sure to save before you try it.

Thanks again BarcardiJim,
I went to the museum and gained information about Gordian Construction Co. doing some excavating. Thus I went to Nargile Bar, after several tries got out the back door with the key information, and now I am saving before going on the elevator up to the room in the Gordian Construction Co.
So far, I haven't met Jeremy Carpender!

Thanks again! Enjoying the game!

Linda

You can "die" (get busted) at Gordian, so be careful and quick. There are many time-wasting red herrings there. But you will find the key information that will help wrap this smuggling/murder mystery up for you.

Of course using that evidence is a whole different story...

HELP!
I am almost finished with the game, but I am caught in the hard drive and can't find my way out of this maze so I can get the evidence from Eskander's files and send them to the computer lab, before the simulation world collapses!
Any ideas? Such a short time to find the way out and finding all of the evidence before the end!

Thanks,

Linda

Make sure you save right before you enter the simulation. If you have found the way through the maze and into Eskander's hard drive, you don't need to find a way back out. The game will exit you from the simulation as soon as you get the right piece of evidence and get it sent out to Sharife.

What evidence are you looking for, exactly? Transactions between Eskander and the construction company, yes? Think about the name of the company...

I have saved prior to going through the hole in the church floor. The walls were crumbling around me and I didn't get through the maze, nor gather the evidence in time. Thus I was arrested in the end of the game. Any ideas as to get through the maze and gather the evidence in time?

Yes, the construction company is Gordian!

Thanks,
Linda

Straight, left, straight, right, straight, left again. Through the "treasure" room.

Thanks so much BacardiJim,
I was able to transfer the files out to Sharif with 1 second left to spare! Thus, the smuggling ring was busted!
A great game!

Again thanks for the help!
