dr oz is telling people not to take their medicines that the dr the prescripe them is he staking the fact. cool i never have any problems with my meds.

family, many meds are being used that could be substituted by eating correctly and exercising more. That being said, any reduction or stoppage of medicine should still be monitored by your physician. Most people would rather take a pill than change their lifestyle which is a shame.

Dr. Oz is all for getting away from the 'quick fix'. Better to try natural means of lowering cholesterol etc. than to just pop the pills. BUT don't disregard your own doctor's recommendations. Ask questions like, 'Is there a way to do this without the pills?' I've found my doctor will suggest things but only if I ask. Talk to yours.
