Have not ever downloaded anything from there..but am very interested in being able to play Riven and the later Myst games, and possible Uru Chronicles(if they have). I so miss games like Myst...they just don't seem to make them anymore(or else I am not seeing them). Anyone downloaded and played the Myst games from gog for win 7 and how hard is to install and run?? Thanks for any help.

Have been doing more reading and seems like too many problems with getting it to run and not only that the graphics are very poor in most areas. Such a shame...one of the most beautiful games ever and for it to never be released again (on cd's or even dvd's) in updated excellent form is almost a crime. just so sad. It is truly a loss for adventure gamers that so many of our favourite games are gone forever (unless you have kept an older pc from the very early 80's) or seems like an early xp pc....just such a shame. miss 'em.....the Myst series....Uru....Alida....Schizm, etc)just so many more.... ''(now sounding like my Grandmother when she was alive) They sure don't make them like they used to". For me seems like only Jonathan Boakes does Real adventure games (and Matt Clark??)...Wm Fisher III quit doing them(Last Half of Darkness series). Just not a lot of good adventure games to choose from anymore. have gone to the Casual games to have somewhat of an adventure 'fix'...but...sure miss the old style of adventure games...and guess I'm not the only one because everytime there's a new 'list ' for a year there's more older games on it than new.

I've downloaded and played several old games from GOG on win7 and never had a problem. They have great sales and you can pick up wonderful old games for 2 or 3 $ sometimes. Much easier than fussing around trying to get CDs to run!
People do not remember how much you know, only how you make them feel finished Gray Matter, playing Alice Madness returns and Deponia
