Funny Kids’ Mistakes about the Bible

These mistakes have been collected from Sundayschool teachers, Catholic school teachers and others

This comes from a Catholic elementary school. Kids were asked questions about the Old and New Testaments.

In the first book of the bible, Guinessis, God got tired of creating the world, so he took the Sabbath off.

Adam and Eve were created from an apple tree. Noah’s wife was called Joan of Ark. Noah built an ark, which the animals come on to in pears.

Lot’s wife was a pillar of salt by day, but a ball of fire by night.

The Jews were a proud people and throughout history they had trouble with the unsympathetic Genitals.

Samson was a strong man who let himself be led astray by a Jezebel like Delilah.

Samson slayed the Philistines with the axe of the Apostles.

Moses led the Hebrews to the Red Sea, where they made unleavened bread which is bread without any ingredients.

The Egyptians were all drowned in the dessert. Afterwards, Moses went up on Mount Cyanide to get the ten ammendments.

The first commandment was when Eve told Adam to eat the apple.

The seventh commandment is thou shalt not admit adultery.

Moses died before he ever reached Canada. Then Joshua led the Hebrews in the battle of Geritol.

The greatest miracle in the Bible is when Joshua told his son to stand still and he obeyed him.

David was a Hebrew king skilled at playing the liar. He fought with the Finklesteins, race of people who lived in Biblical times.

Solomon, one of David’s sons, had 300 wives and 700 porcupines.

When Mary heard that she was the mother of Jesus, she sang the Magna Carta.

When the three wise guys from the East side arrived, they found Jesus in the manager.

Jesus was born because Mary had an immaculate contraption.

St. John the blacksmith dumped water on his head.

Jesus enunciated the Golden Rule, which says to do one to others before they do one to you. He also explained, “a man doth not live by sweat alone.”

It was a miracle when Jesus rose from the dead and managed to get the tombstone off the entrance.

The people who followed the Lord were called the 12 decibels.

The epistles were the wives of the apostles.

One of the oppossums was St. Matthew who was also a taximan.

St. Paul cavorted to Christianity. He preached holy acrimony, which is another name for marriage.

Christians have only one spouse. This is called monotony.

Church Bulletin Bloopers

Don’t let worries kill you- let the church help.

Here are some really funny church bulletins and announcements:

Please place your donation in the envelope along with the deceased person you want remembered.

Bertha Belch, a missionary from Africa, will be speaking tonight at Calvary Methodist. Come hear Bertha Belch all the way from Africa.

The Fasting & Prayer Conference includes meals.

The sermon this morning: “Jesus Walks on the Water.” The sermon tonight: “Searching for Jesus.”

Ladies, don’t forget the rummage sale. It’s a chance to get rid of those things not worth keeping around the house. Don’t forget your husbands.

The peacemaking meeting scheduled for today has been canceled due to a conflict.

Remember in prayer the many who are sick of our community. Smile at someone who is hard to love. Say “Hell” to someone who doesn’t care much about you.

Don’t let worry kill you off – let the Church help.

Miss Charlene Mason sang, “I will not pass this way again,” giving obvious pleasure to the congregation.

For those of you who have children and don’t know it, we have a nursery downstairs.

Next Thursday there will be tryouts for the choir. They need all the help they can get.

Barbara remains in the hospital and needs blood donors for more transfusions. She is also having trouble sleeping and requests tapes of Pastor Jack’s sermons.

The Rector will preach his farewell message after which the choir will sing: “Break Forth Into Joy.”

Irving Benson and Jessie Carter were married on October 24 in the church. So ends a friendship that began in their school days.

A bean supper will be held on Tuesday evening in the church hall. Music will follow.

Thumping Good Thursday ya'll puppy

Skymonkey got me up early. Been busy with chores and boys. They both ate a huge breakfast with no nagging and asked for more. Amazing!

Ana, how is your head today?

Darlene, hugs!

Thanks for the Church Bulletin Bloopers! As my dear departed Dad was a minister for many years, I can actually identify with some of those. Lots of stuff got into, what my Mom called the 'Menu'. We all laughed and now I can laugh again. Thanks Joe.

Company for tenants is here 3rd day now. All quiet down there except for a flurry of visitors coming to see the new 'imports'. The 'story' tenants gave me about moving her to Texas with the hubby (Army so they say) might be the first step to get her and the boy here permanently with legal status. They have been working for 15 years to get the remaining Son, Daughter in Law and kids over here. Might be the first wave. I've helped them with a lot of the immigration paperwork over the years. Hopefully all will work out.

Penelope the Peacock is around more. Appears very early now. Might be the weather or the angle of the sun. No clue. She was here at 6:30 today happily sitting on my car's rear spoiler. Looked very happy. Then she joined us on the feeding table but fluffed off when I got too close. Cats finally got fed, Penelope flew off HONKING after I was hosing the deck (poop piles) but didn't panic until she heard a DOG barking 2 doors over. She really panicked, flew the LONGEST distance I've seen her travel. Wow. Across my 90 foot yard, and into the neighbor's yard. She came back quickly honking her dismay. Came over and got grapes so she's fine. Guess dogs are her enemies.

Humid feeling, but the humidity thingy says it's lower than yesterday when it felt dry. Not sure why the difference in feel. Must just be me.

Today's project is going through my 'mini-storage drive' to remove all the duplicate things I've been backing up since 2000. A big project. Have to be sure I don't remove something that's really important. Gonna take all day or maybe 2.

We're having a cold wave, only 93 and darkish and a lovely day. And L4L, I visited that herbal site and spent quite awhile there -a fine site. If my family were still home, I'd try some of the stuff on them. It was fun cooking dinners exotica and then observing my family's reactions. The good ole' days.

I didn't visit Amazon yesterday but will right after posting. Kind of in a gaming slump, maybe something new will help and I still haven't connected PS2 and PS3 to the new TV. Oh dear --procrastination.

Glad Penelope is fine even though the dog thing is upsetting but sh sure isn't afraid of cats.

Sorta, does Penelope wait for her food, or does she call you to come bring it when she comes early?

Ana, glad it is improving. Hope it is gone soon.

Yankee, do you play RPG's on PC or only console?

Afternoon, Space wave

The little, well, sorta little, barn owl didn't make it. I was checking on him all morning and at one point was able to pick him up and move him into the shade. We have grain silos where mouse poison is put out and piecing everything together he must have eaten a poisoned mouse. It's sad because it seemed he was trying to hard to live.

Ana, I'm listening to the news now about the Malaysia jet. Very, very sad. They've been talking about some of the passangers they're finding.

Temps here have been over 100, but today it's in the low 90's.

Awww 3D, poor little barn owl, that mouse poison is terrible on the little creatures who accidentally get it 'by proxy'. I'm pretty sure that's how I lost several feral cats over the years. One day they are fine, then they disappear for a day or two and drag in almost dead and I get to be there for them at the end. Poor things. Guess there is no good way to deal with nature.

L4L, Penelope comes early and waits on the roof for me to come out and feed the feral cats. She then thumps to the side and hangs her head over and waits for me to toss grapes to her on the roof. She's not a chaser, just follows the grape as it rolls down and into the gutter and picks it out from there. Sometimes I miss or the grape bounces over the edge and she just gives me a look like, "Don't you know how to toss a grape?". Very funny.

She usually tanks up on grapes just before she leaves for the night. She knows where the dish is and I keep it filled so she eats, and then prances down the driveway, around the corner of the fence, across my neighbor's yard and she's gone for another night. Someday I will follow her 'home' but I'm pretty sure she's 2 houses down with all the 'roomers' in the newest drug/party house. Silly bird.Hope they aren't feeding her any drugs.

Finally finished (well almost) condensing and deleting stuff off my 'stand alone' harddrive. Freed up a load of space. I'll have to be more organized with my backups from now on. It's a lot to do in one day for 12 or so years of saving stuff.

Off to watch World tragedies. Horrible stuff happening all over. Thinking better thoughts and hope it helps.

Well, back from a 3 hour vet visit. Miss Seagy has been checked pillar to post. Seems to be in pain...not sure from what. But she ate dinner. Now time to collapse into the bed. Sweet dreams all sleep
