This Monday happens to be Hump Day for little old Moi.


My friend (not), the weatherman says that by Wednesday we'll be back up to 96 degrees.


That's more great news because you know how much I just love the heat.

Joe you're super tired today -it hit me yesterday. I borrowed some of my kitties' thoughts and slept and felt much better -then gamed, a perfect central Texas Sunday. I must start going back to church Sundays, they sure can put the guilt thing on ya'. Sunday mornings are lovely though.

I discovered what Buttercup (Kitty) wants. She really wants me to hold the refrigerator door open so she can sit in front of it and she will be cooler. I oblige her for a bit then -too bad Buttercup. Her full name is ButtercupTweets. She's a short orange girl kitty, spayed.

Enough rambling.

My wildflower seeds are sprouting now I must watch so the grasshoppers don't get them. I've sprayed the area with raid and so far no hoppers. But I don't like to use stuff like that.

Monday is over. It's 1 past midnight. It's been a long and very hot day! I'll go to sleep soon Can't sleep well the last 2 days after my week in the night shift and work is not helping

Finally broke down and got a NEW computer. Looked at a few places, got some prices and then dragged my computer friend with me (kicking and growling and all that). Ended up with something new that I didn't know existed. It's a HP 19 All-in-One. Very different for me from the tower types. Nice screen with everything IN it. Speakers, disc drive, lots of USB ports and WI-FI built in. Still figuring it all out. Cost 1/2 of the others I'd been looking at. Good thing I took him along for advice.

Windows 8.1 is a HUGE step up from my XP. Arraaaghhhh! I'll figure it out. At least I can play my games again. I was having withdrawals.

I have a 15 day trial to return it if I hate it. So far, except for the confusing stuff, It's nice.

Sorta I just got a WIN 8.1 also. Having fun figuring it out. I just need to call Carbonite to restore all the files I want to have them install. I'm most concerned that I get them all back but I want all my pictures restored. I have many. I agree that it's a huge step up from XP but maybe we can help each other out.

Time to call it a night. See you in the morning. I have an early shift in the morning. Busy day tomorrow. I have an eye appointment to see if I can go back to wearing contacts. I hope so. I'm tired of cleaning my glasses all the time.

Ended up getting a new phone today. Mine decided it was tired. That took up my whole evening and now it's bedtime. I'm back in the corner, it was a short lived break.
