Good morning everyboomie. welcome

I see by the old clock on the wall that it's 11:51, which is extremely coincidental because that is the exact same time as what my laptop says. shocked

As Elvis would say, "That's crazy man". They aren't even in the same time zone. crazy

The clock is in the US Central, stinking hot Oklahoma time zone, and my computer is in the World Wide Web time zone. taz

My point is........... headscratch....oh yeah... idea.....that it's 11:51......well no not now. Now it's 11:58.....no....11:59......and that's way past my bed time, which happens to be Slumberland time zone. slapforehead

Passing out here.... sleep

Have a happy day everyone.

Terrific Tuesday ya'll puppy

Looooooong day yesterday. Gone for 11 1/2 hours...worn out when I got home, but hubby had dinner waiting hearts

It was a day of mixed results. The ultra-sound did not turn up a reason for the pain or the decreased eating, but it did show a good looking pancreas happydance We are stopping chemo as she has been doing it for 5 months, though not the same protocol for all that time, but some kind at least. The vet thinks it will give her some time to recover and I agree. So now we are in a holding pattern. Will give her another couple of weeks and watch her weight and check the lymph nodes. But her blood tests and x-rays and ultrasound and physical exam were all good puppy

Hubby and I got up early and walked the doggies. Didn't walk our normal length of time. It is huuuuuuuuumid out there...felt like I was trying to breath under the ocean, and it was spitting on us.

Usually walking wakes me up, but I think the breathing wore me out, so we came back and I went back to bed while wonderful hubby went to work. Had a great nap. Then up to scrub Keoki. Will feed the doggies in a sec and then clean up and head out to do errands. Hubby and I are meeting for lunch.

I'll start yogurt before I go.Then I plan to spend the rest of the day in bed so I'll feel like going to Bible Study tonight. Haven't been well enough to go for the last several weeks. Course, those are my plans and my plans frequently don't hold together.

Back later wave

Nan! 90 with a wind chill of 97??? Oh now that's funny. Thanks for a chuckle.

New computer doing OK. Still totally confused about how to run windows 8.1. They seem to have made it so complicated that only the programmers could run it. Wonder if that was their plan? So confusing, but I've got my friend helping me find out how to undo all the stuff I accidentally did. Geez. AND then when I managed to create a 'Microsoft' account (thinking it was my email thingy) it set up some sort of constantly running, password needed mess. He undid most of it. It kept asking for a password or a code number. Had no idea where that was, but it said it was sent to my 'email'. Well, I didn't have email on that computer yet, so it was a mess. THEN this morning, signed into my old old old computer and guess what? All the codes and stuff and verifications were on my old computer's email! How in the heck did that happen? Gads. Dunno if it's the WI-FI connection between the two or just the address for my email. Wow. What did I do? Gonna get a handle on this. Yes I am.

No Penelope Peacock AGAIN today yet. Getting worried. Maybe she's gone. A couple of guys moved out of that place where she seems to live. Haven't seen her since the night before the move. Maybe they moved her with them. Hummmmm. One more day and we will see.

Off to order a new wireless mouse for my new computer. They always come with tacky corded mice. Hard to work with all that wire dangling. Using my old wireless on it now and a corded one on THIS computer. Driving me crazy.

Ok, it's allowed to be a bit whimsy here right?
In any case I can still pull of the "new member"-card I think. =)
(why does the screen turn some of my letters into capital ones?)

The time is really making me woozy. (or maybe it's the wine...)
What timezone is this forum in?
I suppose I COULD figure it out, but then I'd have no one to talk to would I?

Now is the time here 18:33, that is 6:33 pm.
How off am I? (in time that is, nothing else)

Good morning boomies! Off to the park for a run with the dogs and then it's a corner day. So much to do, so little time.

RebKean, we love a little whimsey here! The timezone is EST. I am in CST. We are all in different parts of the world though.
I don't know what you mean about turning your letters into Caps though? Are you using a phone and it is auto-correcting?

No, no phone, just a whimsey computer. lol
It's probably related to that I'm writing in a different language, but it's still annoying...

But the time is on USA:s side? grin

You can change your time offset in your preference by going to My Profile at top of page >>Edit Preferences.
Determine how many hours difference from US EST and then do the adjustment for Sweden. I think it is 8 hours difference.

Back from tank up gas, break the bank -my monthly allowance, that is- and groceriesgroceries etc. And most angry to see that my favorite gas station has been enlarged into an Elgin, Texas travel something or other and food court whatever that is. That g-store was so convenient -on the corner of interstate 290 and our farm to market 696. You just zip in and zip out and in summer buy a klondyke bar. Alles es weg. Oh well, progress I guess.

Gosh if they took Penelope I hope she gets a good home wherever. She sure had it good at your place, Sorta. And about your PC8 and the email that same thing happened to me and still isn't fixed. I never could figure out what kind of password google wants.

G'Boomers!!! take a bow. Because at HEB this AM the clerk at the sushi department had his finger in his mouth!!! and picking!!! his front teeth and the other clerk was chewing!!! something. And I got the manager and complained. And unacostumed to complaining as I am .... I did. Now I won't eat meat because of the animals but darn it people work hard for their money and then get this. Of course manager thanked me and said they would watch them. Those 2 clerks weren't very savory looking anyway. They could do custodial work, maybe. Maybe I'll make the HEB news.

Things are getting better with my new 8.1 PC. Terribly confusing but my friend came up today (actually I waylaid him today on the way to his mailbox) and did some really good things. Got me a real email set up with gmail. Seems 8.1 won't ALLOW the program from Cox unless I make massive changes to both my computers. Nope, don't wanna mess up my old one so now I have 2 mail thingies. It will work.

Also loaded Firefox, which is so easy to navigate a(8.1 is weird) and imported all my 'bookmarks' for me. I'm thrilled. Gonna tame this beast in time. At least I've got GB as my HomePage! Fantastic.

Still no Penelope. Worrying. Was just getting used to having her around. Sigh.

Sorta I just got WIN 8.1 also. Had WINXP. Still learning. I have Carbonite that has backed up all my files so tomorrow I will call them and ask them to get my files on this 8.1. I won't need all of them but I definitely want all my pictures. I can't remember what else is there but I'll find out tomorrow.

Hi manxman. My day has been busy but I'm home now so life is good. smile Oh Ana I hope Merlin is better in the morning.

Just eating some cherries and a fresh peach. YUM!
