does anyone know how you climb ropes in this game. going through caves, jumping up ledges, jumping and hanging on to ropes but you can't climb up them and I can't find out how

Merrick, have you tried the up arrow? Just guessing....Google just said you can, not how.

I don't know the game - but do you have to jump to initially get on to the rope ??

Found out. you just keep using the jump key for up and crouch key for down
