Hi. I'm trying to get the copper wire from the floating robot but Crispin will not talk with her, nor can I get him to practice with the light. Not any light........and now the one at the courthouse is not available because the robot there tells me to get in line.
I hope this makes sense to someone. If not I will open the game and get the exact names of the bots etc. wave
Terri

Terri, are you clicking on Crispin up at the top of your screen (inventory bar) in order to use him? Up on the left next to your Data. Click Crispin and then use him on the floater.

Yes oldbroad, that's what I'm doing but only get the remark that he has no experience, or something to that effect. I thought there might be something to trigger it and I've just missed it.
Thanks.

Here's an excerpt from the walkthrough -- see if you can spot what you might have missed doing up to this point. There aren't too many steps, so it's likely something small:

(Main Street)

Talk to Leopold (the robot calling out to you)
Ask what he has for sale
Click on the crowbar
Open your inventory and look at the burnt energy sensor
Trade the crystal for the crowbar
Go to the information kiosk
Type "LAW"
Take the printout
Open your inventory and LOOK at the printout (important)
Walk NORTH

(Tower base)

Look at the door and note that the damage is superficial
Go back to Main Street, and take the LEFT path

(Crash site)

Use Crispin on the cable to move it
Use Crispin on the floater
Continue to the left to go to...

(Courthouse)

Use the lamp on Crispin
Go back to the Crash site

(Crash site)

Use Crispin on the floater (get copper wiring)

If you still have trouble -- let us know.

ok got it. I needed to use the "lantern" in inventory. There was a "lamp" at the courthouse and I thought that was the one I was to use.
Thanks Rushes.
