Many brand names have become synonymous with a general type of product. As an example "Bondo" has widely become known as the general term for auto body filler. "Looks like I'll have to put some Bondo on that side panel."
Let's see how many we can come up with. Please post one answer in the first 24 hours to allow others to participate.
1. Bondo 2. Band-Aid 3. Kleenex 4. Chapstick 5. Q-Tips 6. Jell-o 7. Velcro 8. Levi's (on the fence here) 9. Post-It 10. Yo-Yo 11. Vaseline 12. Popsicle 13. Linoleum (I can't count) 14. Scotch Tape 15. Jacuzzi 16. Thermos 17. Frisbee 18. Styrofoam 19. Saran Wrap 20. Xerox 21. Google 22. Crock-Pot 23. Walkman 24. Lay-z-Boy 25. Brillo Pad

Good answers ladies. I'd say that there's a good argument either way for Levi's, Marian. They were the first denim pants in America ( I think ) I would say it depends on your experience with Levi's.
