August 4 th, 2013 - Tel-Aviv, Israel -– Adventure Mob today announce the relaunch of “Bolt Riley - A Reggae Adventure Game”, a 2D Point and click that takes place in 1970’s Jamaica and follows the path of a world famous Reggae musician.

“In this harsh time of war in Israel, I decided to focus on creating a positive game experience and bring joy to our audience.” said Oded Sharon, Adventure Mob’s CEO, “and Bolt Riley does that with a story of peace, love, and of friendship.”

Bolt Riley - A Reggae Adventure tells the story of a young man growing up in a very poor area of Kingston, Jamaica. He loves music, especially the Reggae sound and wants to become a singer. In the game you will play Bolt, and help him discover his inspiration . He needs to write great songs and put together a talented group of musicians. Bolt has to deal with some gang members who are asking him to performs acts of crime, but instead, he chooses a path of peace and goes against the violent environment he lives in, while helping out his fellow townsfolk, reuniting families, helping out an old lady with a cat, and bringing joy and harmony to his neighbors.

The game is a collaborative work between Lori and Corey Cole, Creators of the Quest for Glory series and Adventure Mob, who teamed up and now return to Kickstarter with a short 7 day only campaign, to help raise the funds required to finish production of the game.

“We’ve decided to experiment with crowdfunding with this short campaign.” continued Sharon, “Most of the funds in a Kickstarter campaign comes from the first 3 days and last 48 hours of the campaign, while in the middle there are a bunch of very slow days that are really stressful for the campaign owner, so I decided - why not just take these out and focus on the start and end of the campaign? So far it seems like it’s working. We’re already at an amazing 30% of the funding goal, and that’s only after one day.”

Adventure Mob’s diverse team includes people from all sexes, races, nationalities and religions working together on the game. It includes a female programmer from Singapore, who was working at the offices in tel-aviv, and a Mulsim Arab programmer from Nazereth.

“When considering people for work, we always think it’s important to focus on talent and capabilities rather than anything irrelevant to game development.” concluded Sharon.
