I feel good about taking things to Goodwill and actually, I do like shopping at Goodwill. It's so cheap that it feels like a library where I am just checking things out for awhile until I decide to take them back.
April Foiles

The doctor, after a thorough examination, sighed and said, "I've got some bad news. You have cancer, and you'd best put your affairs in order."

The woman was shocked, but managed to compose herself and walk into the waiting room where her daughter had been waiting.
"Well, daughter, we women celebrate when things are good, and we celebrate when things don't go so well. In this case, things aren't well. I have cancer. So, let's head to the club and have a martini."

After three martinis, mother and daughter were feeling a little less somber. There were some laughs and more martinis. They were eventually approached by some of the woman's old friends, who were curious as to what the two were celebrating.

The woman told her friends they were drinking to her impending end. "I've been diagnosed with AIDS."

The friends were aghast, gave the woman their condolences and beat a hasty retreat.

After the friends left, the woman's daughter leaned over and whispered, "Momma, I thought you said you were dying of cancer, but you just told your friends you were dying of AIDS! Why did you do that?"

"Because I don't want any of those women sleeping with your father after I'm gone."

The Black Bra

I had lunch with 2 of my unmarried friends. One is engaged, one is a mistress, and I have been married for 20+ years.

We were chatting about our relationships and decided to amaze our men by greeting them at the door wearing a black bra, stiletto heels and a mask over our eyes. We agreed to meet in a few days to exchange notes. Here's how it all went.

My engaged friend:
The other night when my boyfriend came over he found me with a black leather bodice, tall stilettos and a mask. He saw me and said, 'You are the woman of my dreams. I love you.' Then we made passionate love all night long.

The mistress:
Me too! The other night I met my lover at his office and I was wearing a raincoat, under it only the black bra, heels and mask over my eyes.
When I opened the raincoat he didn't say a word, but he started to tremble and we had wild sex all night.

Then I had to share my story:
When my husband came home I was wearing the black bra, black stockings, stilettos and a mask over my eyes. When he came in the door and saw me he said,

(you are going to love this.....)

Yeah, cooler today, thought it might be a long sleeve day but then the sun appeared. Befor I forget -August 8 is world cat day according to my well known organization's calender. Summer is going bye-bye in an augenblich, in a blink of the eye and I'm not ready to see it go.

Resolutions: That 5 minute a day thing, let's start that over today. Friday is a good day to start new ideals. Really I forgot my aspirations yesterday. So today the original 2 plus I will be prettier for 5 minutes. And that's my goal and I'm sticking to it. 5 min today then 10 tomorrow, that's going to be difficult.

Happy Friday all

Well, I am not a very happy camper at all. I picked up my MRI's and I have torn rotator cuffs in both shoulders. That sure explains a lot. sad I will be holding a pity party tonight and then I will put my big girl panties on go forward.

Oh dear! Ana with torn rotators and 3D with pneumonia. Not a good week.

I'm having a fairly good day. Ants are eating up the poisoned liquid stuff to take back to their hives. It's Terro (borax stuff) so it's fairly safe for most of my other critters.

Orange kitty, who was missing for almost 3 days (he does that occasionally) came back. He's having mouth problems, probably teeth like all the rest of the inbred ferals around here. BUT he has a goose egg on the side of his face. Gotta be he got into a fight with another cat and was lying low for awhile. Seemed happy and frisky and ate after some petting so I guess he will be OK. Those lumps go away by themselves usually. I'll be watching it.

New computer doing fairly well. Lost one of my 'icons' temporarily but finally managed to click enough places and got it back. NOW I have to find the second one I lost. Duh. Hate this. Enjoying the faster gaming though. Hope it continues to do that nicely.

Off to watch VCR tapes forever and see who took the stuff from the garbage bag. Could be interesting.

WARNING! This person is extremely blonde...please type SLOWLY.

Ana, prayers for quick healing.

Thought I'd pulled rib muscles after water aerobics, then it seemed to get better, then became more painful. So next self diagnosis was a cracked rib. Did get an xray but nothing showed. By Wed, it hurt to stand up and to breath; back for another xray and then it showed pneumonia. Thank you for the well wishes and I am feeling better.

Will now take er easy and Ana, I hope you do to.
