For Sherlock Holmes vs Jack the Ripper, try looking here:

C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Games\sherlock holmes versus jack the ripper\save\

I'm not sure about Awakened, but I believe the above is accurate for Windows 7; maybe you will find The Awakened saved games in the same place.

Let's wait for someone who has some saved games.

albet,

Did you scroll to start of the load list?
I vaguely remember that the saves are arranged by dates.
Check and keep us posted.

I am stuck on the puzzle where you are supposed to draw an ellipse on a map. I have tried this at least 100 times and can't seem to get it right.
Does anyone have any idea what i am doing wrong.

I place the compass half way on the green line and form the ellipse and nothing happens. Holmes is supposed to respond when you have it right.

Am I the only one having a problem with this.

I even watched it on a you tube video and still can't get it right.

Very frustrating!

Please help

Alan

Hi Alan,

Make sure that you're pulling the ellipse far enough out to leave a little space between it and the two marker spots at each side. The ellipse shouldn't actually touch the markers. This puzzle is a little fiddly.

Fiddly? You can say that again. I will try it again.

My own saves aren't labelled, but here's a site page where you can download individual saves for the game:

SH vs JTR saves

Hope that helps. If you have any problems either downloading or locating your save folder, let us know. luck
