Hello Boomers! Hope you are all well!

Connie, prayers for your SIL. hearts

Really enjoying the quiet time just now, although I'm baking a cake today for my lovely sister's 60th birthday tomorrow. She doesn't want a fuss so having a family dinner instead of a party.

We have had a great summer so far with some reasonable temps and not much rain so been able to get out and about with hubby.

To all here and all who stop by later, have a great day!

I swear we skipped summer this year. It's been spring and now fall. It's down to the 50's and the leaves are falling already. Who do I submit a complaint to that can fix this? lol I won't complain as I still do not have AC but after it gets fixed it would be nice to have heat wave.

Joe, I am sorry you need to be there for the Estate Sale. It's very hard to see that. My heart goes out to you.

Haroula, beach this weekend?

Gerry, I will certainly try to make it a stress-free day. I wish you one as well.

manxman, have a happy day!

Connie, prayers for your SIL and I hope Outlaw's vet visit goes well. hearts

Gail, have a wonderful day!

Mary, happy birthday to your sister! It's cool here this summer, I do not like it.

Darlene, time flies! I'm so excited for you! Enjoy shopping! Are the guys all wearing tuxes? My hubby wore a tux that matched the wedding party for my daughters wedding.

Happy day all!

Fantastic Friday ya'll puppy

Hubby and I were up and out early to walk the monkeys. It was cool happydance Wonderful for us in Al though I know you guys in the north aren't quite ready for fall.

On the way home, my neighbor was outside with Chipper (choc. lab puppy), so I hopped out of the car leaving Soot to get our gang in and went to get a Chipper fix. He is a wiggly little thing!

Dogs are fed and monthly heart worm pilled. Not sure what the rest of the day will bring.

Joe, estate sales are hard. Hugs. wave

Another lovely day in paradise. Penelope the Peacock (who was absent yesterday) was spotted going across my neighbor's lawn at 8:00 PM last night! Amazing. I noticed that the bowl of grapes was half empty. The empty half was the Black grapes I bought yesterday. She left all the red ones and ate the black ones. Guess I know her favorite. Now I know that at least one peacock does indeed roam at night. Weird. I thought all birds slept in the dark. Interesting.

Still watching the empty house across but not much news except for all the lights going on in the last 2 days. EVERY light in the house is on. Something is going on with it. I will report in Sorta's Neighborhood if anything noteworthy happens.

Bought 6 puzzles at the thrift store. All perfect for me. 300 pieces, large size. Nice. Already did 2 of them last night with a friend. Keeps me busy if nothing else is happening.

Ailing Outdoorsie cat, Orange, seems to be mending. That huge flab of skin dried up and almost fell off yesterday. I managed to clip the remaining little connector with scissors as he gobbled food. Took me 3 tries but I finally got it. It fell with a thud to the table, he looked up from eating and sniffed it, then went back to the food. Guess he was happy not to have it weighing him down. Awkward right under the chin. Skin underneath looks pink and healthy. Just needs to heal now. He just might make it. Wish I could catch him but he's a very agressive, don't touch me, cat. Nature will take it's course. I'm optimistic now that I can see the area. I'm still thinking it looks like a large BURN. Maybe he fell asleep on a hot engine? He's always greasy when he comes around. I think he lives in the 'tow yard' across the street. Perhaps he tried to crawl into an engine and only hit his chin on a hot item? Dunno. Seems like a huge blister that finally popped. Otherwise he's fine. Mystery never to be solved.

Off to puzzle.

Thanks for Princess Penelope update. Good reading and so glad she's being taken care of. Strange, my "pet" opossum prefers black grapes too. A long time ago I read to get the most nutrition from fruits and vegges go for color and these critters just know these things. We learn alot from them.
