Funny Book Report

Students at a local school were assigned to read 2 books, 'Titanic' and 'My Life' by Bill Clinton.

One student turned in the following book report, with the proposition that they were nearly identical stories!

His cool professor gave him an A+ for this report.

Titanic: Cost - $29.99
Clinton : Cost - $29.99

Titanic: Over 3 hours to read
Clinton : Over 3 hours to read

Titanic: The story of Jack and Rose, their forbidden love, and subsequent catastrophe.
Clinton : The story of Bill and Monica, their forbidden love, and subsequent catastrophe.

Titanic: Jack is a starving artist.
Clinton : Bill is a bullshit artist.

Titanic: In one scene, Jack enjoys a good cigar.
Clinton : Ditto for Bill.
Titanic: During the ordeal, Rose's dress gets ruined.
Clinton : Ditto for Monica.

Titanic: Jack teaches Rose to spit.
Clinton : Let's not go there.

Titanic: Rose gets to keep her jewelry.
Clinton : Monica is forced to return her gifts.

Titanic: Rose remembers Jack for the rest of her life.
Clinton : Clinton doesn't remember Jack.

Titanic: Jack surrenders to an icy death.
Clinton : Bill goes home to Hillary - basically the same thing

Joe, I can imagine all that collecting and selling stuff is time consuming. Good thing there is a profit to be made. I sit and laugh thinking about my 'estate' and someday when I'm gone, how much effort and time will be spent by someone going through all my boxes of goodies and my house and selling it all. Loads of collections, good stuff, antiques, rare stuff. Worth a load of cash to someone who wants to do the job. I'm just happy living with it all. Makes me smile to see old things that have memories, or the fun of seeing someone notice a picture on my wall and exclaiming, "Do you KNOW how much that is worth?". Yup, probably, but to me, it's just pretty and I like looking at it.

Today we have a late Penelope the Peacock. Neighbor called to alert me she was just now trucking across her front lawn headed my way. She must have taken a detour, but finally showed up at my back gate 5 minutes later and at some black grapes. I'll have to go out and see where she is now. Maybe in her favorite roof top perch.

Orange, the Outdoorsie feral cat is healing more and more. I see nice pink skin with tiny fuzz fur starting. The huge open place under his neck is shrinking. We just might have a survivor here. He's eating a ton. Staying mostly in my yard (even though his usual digs are across the street). He's not up to defending his territory at this point. He even let me pet his head while he ate. Wow. Guess even ferals know when we humans are trying to help.

Off to do another puzzle. Hard one. Seems they have little 'mason jars' shapes in it and then more pieces to make a huge mason jar. Very confusing. Can't quite figure it out yet.

WARNING! This person is extremely blonde...please type SLOWLY.

Super Saturday ya'll puppy

I think some cleaning will happen today. Yogurt is in it's first stage, so that should happen (occasionally I blow the chemistry), and not sure what else. wave

Great plans today -move lotsa desks (3) around so I will have all my gaming in the little bedless bedroom and move the big comfy recliner to that b'rm also. Whew. Big stuff. During elaborate mental and detailed plans for this migration ShemerBaby had curled up and fell asleep on the prime desk and still is in the arms of slumber. Monday is a good day to move furniture isn't it. In a way, thank you ShemerBaby.

Food for the day, a big salad and maybe a banana smoothie.

Who here knows latin. Is it, "Into the arms of umbra"? I'm forgetting my Latin. After struggling through 4 years of it, lingua latina should be copied and pasted into the frontal lobes.

Enjoy your Saturday all
