I've been at the ansala leaf puzzle about three days now,and nothing has happened. I hate to be a pain but what do you mean by adding enough to leave a number divisible by 4. What do I do even after I figure that out? I'm really stuck on this one. What will happen when I get it right? love the game so far. Thanks much
Richard

After leaving the computer space for addition divisible by 4, the computer will add another set of segments.
Again add segments that will leave divisible by 4 until you will be the last one to add some segments.
If that is the case - then complete the height necessary for that plant.
The plant on the left needs 9 segments, the middle needs 13 segments and the right plant needs 10 segments.

I need a hint on the three doors on the second trip to Lyra. I have opened the left and right doors but I am unable to derive the combination for the middle door.

The red/green ball does not generate any combination. I have tried using the red and green balls separately to generate the combination for each half of the picture but no combination of the two seems to work.

any hints please?

You're on the right track. Split the pattern into left and right halves. One ball will show you the left half, with four numbers on the s-pattern. Use the FIRST TWO places. The other ball will show the right half, again displaying four spots on the s-pattern. Use the LAST TWO spots. That's a total of four buttons, which will open the door.

Floyd, use the first half of the code for the left symbol and the second half from the right side symbol. This will make a 4 digit code.

Use both lenses on the telescope - what you will see will always be the wrong colors - that is red is really blue and blue is really red.

Then turn the real red to the outside gate so that it is away from you. You will find out later why you did it this way. wink

er... what red lights? There are 2 buttons. one to place the lens on the telescope and the other to turn the gate that is seen through the scope. smile

Did anyone else have problems seeing the base 12 numbers on the top of the 4 towers in the endgame puzzle? I saw half of one of the numbers, very faintly, but the rest of the number and the numbers on the other 3 towers were completely washed out - just a white tower top.

Jenny, Mordack has the same problem and had a solve for it without the numbers from the tower roof. smile

Paul, If you're in jail - I reworded the wt early this AM. The spaces are the length between the knots of the rope. You're right about the clamp with the 2 sharp arm that should hold the colored clips on the rope. smile

Does 13 work just as well as 15, MaG?
I'll have to check it.

I finally made it to the Gelleas wreck, and I'm stuck on the crate puzzle. There are two control panels there which one do I use? What order do I press the buttons. There are 6buttons on each panel. Is the center one to reset the puzzle?
Thank you,
Richard

How did you make it through the crate puzzle. I can't make any headway. I've tried everything and nothing worked. Could you tell me exactly how you did it. Thanks
Richard

Check MaG's walkthrough
http://www.gameboomers.com/wtcheats/pcMm/mj2.htm

I don't know if it matters which control you use. I haven't tested that yet. But it works for the left control. If you can't find a way to reset, the game should have autosaved when you arrived on Galleas.
