Not only is earthquake insurance expensive, the company that offers mine (actually one of the lowest priced) will only cover damages OVER 15k and ONLY if not caused by fire or water damage. Amazing. Might as well just save up and hope. Same for flood insurance. Thank goodness I'm not in a flood area. I couldn't afford all the insurances.

Hi everybody. Been absent from the diner lately. Sorry. I called my sister in San Fran to ask her if she felt the quake. She said yes but the quake didn't affect her. That was good news. I'm really tired tonight. Still covering for another caregiver. I asked Mike if I could be there for 8:30 instead of 8:00 in the morning. He said yes so that will give me an extra half an hour that I can sleep. Hope you all have a good night. See you in the mornin. Hoping to find some BB pancakes.
