Hi Guys.
You have been very helpful in the past regarding my problems with the Myst/Uru games, and I thank you for that, I have decided to play all of them again from 'Myst' through to 'Uru The Complete Chronicles. I also notice that there is an online game 'Myst Online Uru Live' and I was wondering if there is anyone out there that can give me some tips/hints about playing that game.
Thanks for all you have done in the past.

I haven't played the online game, but I hope some other players will see your note and can offer you some advice. Have fun. wave

I played that game a little bit. It is just like 'Uru The Complete Chronicles' but with some more 'ages' thrown in.

You still have to complete all the old tasks (from 'Uru' and both its addons) to gain the access to those new areas.

You can take a look at this picture listing all its ages - the new ones are Minkata, Tetsonot, Dereno etc.
I did not solve them though - if I remember it correctly, most of them require help from other players (Uru is a MMO-Adventure after all), and usually there are not many players out there.

Or, and for those who did non play 'Uru' the original paid offline version, 'Myst Online Uru Live' is definitely recommended - as it is Free!

Hi Iurii.
Thanks for the information.
You say you have to finish all the old tasks before you can go on to the new ones, do you know whether you can use the old walk throughs and then automatically go on to the new 'Ages' or if you have to use the walk through for this particular game which as far as I know only comes in PDF format.
Grateful for any information.
kingpin.

kingpin, you can use old walkthrough, as those old puzzles are the same as in 'Uru'.

But what do you mean by 'automatically go on to the new Ages'? You don't go anywhere automatically smile As in usual 'Uru', you have to find a linking book, or a linking stone, and use it to go somewhere.

Oh, and links to the new ages are hidden somewhere in old areas, so you may want to use the new pdf walkthrough anyway!

Thanks Iurii.
I think I used the wrong term 'automatically' thanks for putting me right.
The problem I have with the PDF walk through is that the print size is very small, if I could find a way to either enlarge the print size or even to transfer from PDF to Word it would make it a lot easier to read.
Thanks.
kingpin.

Hi Kingpin,
Regarding the small print issue, if you hold down the CTRL key and use your scroll wheel on the mouse at the same time, you can zoom in or out in your PDF walkthrough. I hope this helps. ENJOY!
Sandy

kingpin, you are welcome!
Are you ising Adobe Reader to print the file? When pressing 'Print', there are many options there as to fitting the page.
