Hi Chuck,

You should find the magnet in Bosworth Clark's lab. luck

Did you examine the big console carefully? Go over to the left of it and crouch down.
You should see a note attached to the console with a magnet; then you should be able to get the magnet.

Chuck, if you've already picked up the note then the magnet should automatically have been placed into inventory. Double check your inventory to make sure.

Does Slade shoot you? This is what Dan Kennedy's WT says:

Proceed back into the bedroom, and open up the closet. Turn around, and close the doors behind you. Now pick up Slade's clothes - since this is the last item to look at, this will trigger Slade's "old-fashioned" cell phone to start ringing. Just sit tight for a minute - if you've remembered to cover your tracks, you can listen to Slade's conversation (if not, Slade comes out and shoots you, and you'll have to load up a previously saved game).

So you need to be sure that you've shut any drawers or cabinets that you've opened in the area, and replaced anything that you've examined, etc., so that Slade doesn't know that you're there.

Keep us posted. luck
