I'm going to have surgery to my left shoulder which will leave me without my keyboard hand for several weeks. I don't know how I'm going to get by not being able to play my usual games. Does anyone have suggestions for games that only require the mouse. I don't care if the games are lame since I can't be choosy.

Best wishes to you for your upcoming surgery. What sort of games do you prefer?

My first thought for games was that perhaps you should check out some of the HOPA (hidden object puzzle adventure) games from Big Fish Games, if you haven't already. There is a large selection from which to choose, and many of them are quite entertaining. If you needed some recommendations, I am sure that some of the folks in our Casual Games forum would be happy to help. wave

Hope your surgery goes well, gamer924, and that you make a speedy recovery luck

[ And I think Marian's suggestion of "Casual" games is right on the button thumbsup ]

Good Luck with your surgery gamer924. You might try some of the match 3 games, mahjong games and solitaire games too. You only need a mouse to play.

Good luck with the surgery, and I agree try some Big Fish games.

One other option instead of games - is to use a trackball. Fingers are the main movers and the arm doesn't need to move. I'm a trackball user and would be clumsy with a mouse.

Thank you all. I guess it's off to casual games and Big Fish.

Here's to an uneventful surgery and good healing and recovery. I hope you can find some casual games to help you pass the time, and some games that are fun that hold your interest. flowers

I think you can also change what button on your mouse is the main one.
Like change everything you do as a left click to a right click and so on.
Your opposite hand will learn soon enough.
I'm not sure if I'm explaining myself rightly.
