I know this is not a games problem but your expertise has always helped me in the past sp here goes--- I am on my ipad at the moment because for some considerable time I cannot get internet explorer---- it just says "unable to connect -- reset proxy---". I have done all of that and many other things as we'll but to no avail--- can anyone help please??? --Peter

What version of IE are you trying to use? Operating system?

There's a malware that changes your browser so it uses proxy settings for a malicious proxy. Antivirus and Antimalware programs may remove the virus, but not change the settings back to not using a proxy.

See if this helps:

Open Internet Explorer.

Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.

Click the Connections tab, and then click LAN settings.

De-select the Use a proxy server for your LAN check box.

Save your changes.
