I am at the 1st turtle puzzle & understand how it is supposed to work, but for some reason the Pentagram (after entering 9arrow40)shows up on the big screen, but not down below in the little black box. The other three shapes are down there, but not this one. Am I doing something out of sequence? Aside from that this game is fascinating & a real brain-tweaker! <img border="0" alt="woozy" title="" src="graemlins/woozy.gif" />

Sorry to ask again, this time about Turtle Machine II. I am sure there needs to be a component triangle shape used in making 2 of the target shapes, but I cannot figure out the formula for making this triangle. Can anyone help?
Thanks!
Geronimo

I was able to make sense out of the first two Turtle Puzzles (after peeking at the Solves), but #3 had me stymied. Even after looking at the solution for a couple of them, I still couldn't solve the rest on my own.

The triangle is
3 arrow 120

The secret is that the turtle has to turn through a full circle (360 degrees) to get back to point the same way - so if you want a pentagon (for example) with 5 turns each turn will have to be 360/5=72 so

5 (forward turn72)

Of course in the later puzzles you can store any new shapes as smilies rather than their actual shape.

One of the final turtle puzzles still stumps me from time to time smile

If all else fails the exact solutions are on my web site.

Hope this helps.
