this game froze on me, what is the mode i pput it on, it is by spintop, on a disk.

According to mobygames.com this game is from 2010, so I'd try Windows 7 compatibility first, then work backwards to XP if it doesn't work with Windows 7.

Campfire Legends: The Babysitter is currently sold by ***Gamehouse***, and they claim it is compatible with everything from Windows 2000 through Windows 8. But they may be selling an updated version.

Sometimes there is nothing you can do about occasional freezes or crashes in a game except to start the game and cross your fingers that your save is still OK. In fact, I've had several games freeze or crash while creating an automatic save, and when I restarted the game I was exactly where I left off. I haven't played Campfire Legends: The Babysitter, but Campfire Legends: The Hookman was this way.

I have this game as a download from Amazon. The game froze on me too... I was able to get it moving by clicking again, but that wasn't going to be a good way to play the game. I changed the compatibility to Windows 7 and it worked perfectly.

Just right click on the gameplay icon shortcut on your desktop and select Properties. Then click on the Compatibility tab and set it to Windows 7 and click Apply.

okay i will try that does that work for window 8.

I'm sorry! I meant to say that I did this on my Windows 8.1 computer...
