Check out the launch trailer here. Check out the Pretty Little Crimes Trailer here. You can view the Art of Subversion Video here. Check the Screenshots here. For more info check out the Official Website here. In Crimes & Punishments, become Sherlock Holmes and use your impressive talents as a detective to solve six thrilling and varied cases: murders, missing persons, spectacular thefts and numerous investigations that sometimes lead you into the realms of the fantastic. The great freedom of action in Crimes & Punishments allows you to conduct your investigations in the manner you deem appropriate. Choose the leads you wish to pursue, interrogate your suspects and, from your deductions, name the guilty parties... and determine their fate wisely, as surprising consequences may arise where you least expect them.
His skills, your wits. Become Sherlock Holmes from September 30 when Crimes & Punishments releases on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
About Crimes & Punishments Crimes & Punishments marks the most important stage in the Sherlock Holmes series. The decision by Frogwares studios to switch from the in-house engine to the Epic Unreal Engine 3 enables a much richer, more immersive and detailed rendering of both the environments and characters.
But the change of game engine has not only improved the graphics; new investigation techniques have been developed and the game can now offer 14 game mechanics. From the opening of each of the six investigations up to the arrest of the culprits and the moral dilemmas faced by the players, the new game mechanics convey the feeling of BEING Sherlock Holmes. Players will therefore be able to exploit the incredible gifts and talents for which he is renowned, such as his ability to guess the details of an individual's life simply by observing them, or to imagine and reconstruct a past event by studying the key features of a crime scene.
Happy Gaming! Ana

I pre-ordered the game in Amazon, it has a coupon for $10 to buy something sold and shipped by Amazon. These kind of coupons do not last for ever, normally until the last day of the month, since it comes out the 30th I hope it last until the end of October . They are good for people who buy a lot there.

Press copies went out and likely were shared with those that recorded it. It has not been officially released yet.

The coupons are good for "everything sold and shipped by Amazon" not third parties. Most things Amazon sells fall in this category, the only "negative" thing I have found is that are good for a limited time only, in general until the last day of the month that they are issued. I buy a lot in Amazon then is not problem for me, it could be an issue for people who only buy there occasionally.
In this case I don't know until this coupon will be valid since the game is released the last day of the month.
The day the game is released Amazon sends you a coupon number that you can introduce as a discount at check out, sometimes it goes directly and applies to the next purchase. I used it many times with no issues.

Good oldbroad ! It would be wise to check the dates on it, I have never bought one game released the last day of the month. The computers may decide to put the coupon good until 30th of September as crazy as it may be Edited 9/29, my game is already shipped and the coupon will be applied directly as credit to may account. Good until February.

Playing now and the graphics are out of the world. Just like your watching a movie. Don't know how the auto-saves work. Is it ok if I talk about the game? Richard

Go ahead, Richard. Glad you're enjoying the graphics. They're certainly something. Remember that any plot spoilers should be placed in spoiler brackets, out of consideration for those who haven't yet played the game.

Not much to talk about Rushes. I'm at the crime seen. Lot to do there. The auto-save seems to work good. How do I use spoiler brackets? Nothing to not to like about this game. In time I'm sure everybody playing the game will need some help. Richard

To anyone who has received the disk version - is it DRM free? Or does it require you to connect to Steam?

Thanks for the info, oldbroad. Do you know if the game has limited activations, or does it only need to be activated once, and you're good to go?

Ha. Someone at Frogwares is a fan of Christopher Plummer. Check out this video of the story Silver Blaze, and start at 3:00. Their new rendition of Holmes looks too much like him for it to be a coincidence. Gil.

To anyone who has received the disk version - is it DRM free? Or does it require you to connect to Steam? My disk version requires Steam - which I'm not brilliantly happy about - but I wanted a disk version so there ya go !!

There is no activation limit, there is no DRM. Online activation is DRM. So is Steam.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread. I just wanted to give an update on my situation. Since I got a belated Amazon gift card for Christmas, I decided to go ahead and purchase Crimes and Punishments along with some other things, just to see if it would work. So far, everything runs smoothly for me, even at the highest settings. So I guess my current video card is enough for it after all. Very happy I can play this game now!
