Grrrr......

I am trying to decrypt Catherine's journal, but am not getting anywhere. The w/t I am using says I can't do it until I've seen Magnotta's file in the police station, and then I can use the password "scorpio." I am past that point, but the password isn't working. I've tried all 12 zodiac signs in case this puzzle is reset for different players and I've tried upper and lower case, but it is all for naught.

What have I missed?

But it also depends on which mode your playing the game in. Are you in EASY, Moderate or Difficult??? Check your game options.
Scorpio only works for Moderate puzzle mode. Slayer is for Easy mode and Cigar is Difficult mode. Also it won't encrypt the entire thing. That happens during the course of the game. ***This game is one of my favorites. It's got 4 completely different endings... That's decided for you somewhere in Act III.
