Each clue contains either a pun on the answer word or the word itself in anagram form. The anagram can be a single word, a group of consecutive letters involving more than one word or a group of consecutive letters taken from a larger word.
Example: Down the hill ran a brook (4) -> Down the h(ILL R)an a brook -> rill = brook

All correct. Lex, that's the toughest anagram there is That allowance will have to be added to the instructions...for the next one. The last one isn't an anagram
