Oh yes, the year is flying by. I got my first Charity Donation call yesterday for a Christmas party for Foster parents? I'm sure it was a scam but Christmas, already? Nope.
Wally Mart just cleared it shelves for the Christmas decorations. Many are already out, but the big push will be just after Halloween. They already have racks of 'covered' stuff out on the storage patio ready to fill the shelves.
When the Christmas MUSIC starts, I'm done. No more shopping unless I'm desperate.

Time always flies when you're having fun. Or not paying attention. I am so not ready for winter. Let's skip winter and go right into spring.

Time does seem to fly by as we age. When you're retired you don't pay attention as much so when you start seeing the ads for the holidays you do wonder where the time went!

We already have the tins of Christmas popcorn and Christmas stationary out at Office Depot. Wish they'd stop the PC bunk. All the displays have "Happy Holidays" printed on them instead of "Merry Christmas". Most customers say "Merry Christmas' not "Happy Holidays". No one has ever objected to anyone in the store saying "Merry Christmas".
