Thanks, Marian. Will notify you when I get it.
Got it, but can't get it to work. Thank you for your time. Will keep trying to figure it out, but if not, I'm done with ND games. (my fault, no one else's).

Laurette, just locate the saved game file that downloaded and then copy and paste it into the Ghost of Thornton Hall folder in My Documents. Don't try to open the file/click on it; that will do nothing. After the saved game has been placed in the Ghost of Thornton Hall folder, load up the game and find a saved game that says stained glass.

Well, once again, I discovered what I was missing. Didn't even pay attention to the letters on the glass (duh). Got through it, and thanks again, Marian.

That's great, Laurette. The letters are indeed a big help. I can't tell you the number of times my brain hasn't processed stuff like that. laugh

Am now back in the crypt, using the flower note/plate. Have successfully placed all parts and nothing happens. Have tried doing it in different sequences, but still nothing happens. Help, please! Thanks.

It's the only coffin with the design that needs to be filled in. Is there a certain order for the pieces to be placed? Thanks.

If you have the correct coffin - then just fit those pieces inside in any order you like.

If you have already read the walkthrough for this section, try watching this video and see if it helps.

If it's not solving, then something isn't in the right place.

Marian: I went back and your last sentence hits the target! I had filled in all pieces, but one was in the wrong section. Now I can (once again) continue. Thank you and MaG.
