Not sure if this is the right place to put this, but...
Has anyone gotten phone calls from people with Indian accents stating they are from "Windows technical support," and they are calling to inform you that there is malware, etc. on your computer? Got a call last night and again this a.m. Naturally, I hung up. My husband listened to the person last night, when I told him it was some kind of scam.

You did the right thing by hanging up. Take a look at this thread from GameBoomers. Your call sounds like the same kind of scam. It's horrifying to think there are folks out there who could be taken in by this.

I also got a call from someone who's English was so poor I could hardly understand him and he said my computer was corrupt. I asked him who he represented and he said Microsoft I called him a liar and hung up.

I played really dumb & told them that my son just had very good storm windows installed through the house for me, so I don't need new windows. There was silence on the other end for about 15 seconds, then they hung up. LOL
A balanced diet is a cookie in each hand.
