Hi, everyone!

I'm stuck near the beginning of Chapter 2. Victoria is sitting near the fireplace and won't talk to me. Bates, Robert and Morris have nothing to say. The cellar door is locked. I've examined the fountain, and it's mirkier today than yesterday. I've found Henry's locked box, but not the key. I can't leave the castle.

A gentle shove in the right direction would be appreciated. Thanks!

Go back to the kitchen and talk to Bates.

I've tried talking to Bates, Morris, Robert and Victoria, but none of them have anything to say. There has been a cave-in in the old wing, so the attic is no longer accessible and the key is back on the rack beside the cellar.

Go back out to the fountain pond and look for a footprint (pixel hunting) it took me forever to find this one.

I did find the footprint and was able to ask everyone about it. I'm not sure if I discovered the destruction in the old wing before or after I did that. Victoria wants to be alone and I can no longer initiate a conversation with Morris, Bates or Robert.

In the dream sequence Henry fell into the fountain and his key dropped off. In order to get it from the bottom of the fountain, the water has to be drained by doing a puzzle in the cellar. The key to the cellar is hanging beside the door. If you have done this then I'm not sure what next.

There are two keys hanging beside the cellar door, but my cursor doesn't turn red when I run it over them, so I can't take one. When I click on the cellar door, Samuel says "I haven't any reason to go into the cellar". When I click on Bates, Samuel says he's just passing through.

I've spoken to Morris about the footprint (and everything else on the conversation menu) and have also exhausted all topics with Robert and Bates. Victoria doesn't want to talk. In my inventory I have the following items (if that will help):

William's mourning card, wallet, pills, map, strange object, old photograph, camera with film, black rook knife, black sphere, jewel box, William's diary and a coin.

Going by memory...did you right click on the fountain.

Close in on the symbol and look around. By the way did you get a picture of the symbol?

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I right-clicked on the fountain and, voila, Samuel spotted something shiny <embarrassed grin>. I was then able to go down the cellar and used the pump to drain the fountain. I got the key, engaged in some photography and opened Henry's box. Now I'm on my way to confront Morris.

I was stuck because I didn't right-click on the fountain. Once I did that, I was able to go down the cellar, drain the fountain and get Henry's key. I did get a picture of the symbol. Thanks!

I'm stuck in Black Mirror, chapter 2. I've pieced together the letter from the smaller trash can, I've made a plastic copy of the big dumpster key, which I've given to Mark. I got the item from the pawn shop and joined it with the piece I already had, and I've left the film with the 2 pictures to be developed with the strange doctor. I guess I need to trigger Mark to return to the pub with the key, but don't know what to do. I've exhausted all of the conversations with everyone, and as far as I can see, I can't seem to find anything else. I'm still unable to get into the church as well.

Ok, I figured it out.... I guess I just didn't wait long enough. Just kept going back and forth pestering the barkeep and the doctor, finally got my key and pictures and the 3rd piece of the object.

Now I'm in the tomb below the church trying to figure out the riddles to form the words to make the stone pillars lower. Only one I have is "map", and that's because I read the diary.

I'm giving up for the rest of the day, I've been up most of the night playing. Hope somebody comes up with a walkthrough soon!!

Ingie, nothing will happen unless you get the doctor to leave. Then you can get the bill and the plastic to make impressions, and the impression of the key.
YOu have to talk to Mark at the Pub.

Could someone help me with the puzzle in the church? I'm not sure what the objective is. I can move the stones but they won't jump over another stone. I don't really know where they should go. Do I have to replace all the white sones with the black? How? Appreciate any help.

The white stones and the black stones have to change positions. You can move some out of the way as you move the others in their spaces. It works with perseverence. Good luck.

You'll find a picture of the puzzle in William's journal. It's not a difficult puzzle ... just time consuming :-)!

I got the stone puzzle and the riddles. Now I'm in the basement trying to turn on the lights I guess. I think I've tried all the different positions but there must be many of them. Any help would be good. Thanks

Teddo, it is confusing but it can be done. You have to move as many white ones out of one side as you can to start. Use the spaces on each side. Good luck, we both need it.

Try from left to right: middle, lowest and for the third one upper. BTW save after you have the lights turned on.

Thanks manxman, the third one is on top. I did save and cut the dead cable but I can't get through the door. Should I use the rope for something? Looked all over for a key. This game will last me for a long, long time.

Try right clicking the fence door.

Where is the trash can and the doctor? I am in CH. 2 and I can't find either. Also I can't leave the castle. Any help???

Have you drained the fountain?
Have you gone to cellar?
Not sure where you are and I can't remember if those are chapter 1 or 2-swiss cheese brain.
The trash can and doctor will be at the same location once you're able to leave the castle grounds his home will be on the map.
You have been able to go to town and church right?
