Hi albet, try looking in your Documents. You should find the Art of Murder sub folder there.

Forty-eight save slots, perhaps? You won't see that many in your own save folder unless you've been saving frequently in-game.

I'm not sure where else they might be. Have you tried running a file search for "Art of Murder"?

Saves are probably in a subfolder of C;/Users/Your-User-Name/AppData/
Either
C;/Users/Your Name/AppData/Roaming/
or
C;/Users/Your Name/AppData/Local/
inside a folder with the name of the publisher or the name of the game.

AppData is a hidden folder by default.
Here are instructions for making it visible

If the original game saved to the game folder itself then Win 7 might have used the Virtual Store.

Somewhere like -
c:\users\<username>\Appdata\local\Virtual Store\Program Files\

The folder is hidden by default, do you see any of the appdata folders? If not, try enabling viewing of hidden files and folders. You'll find it under Control Panel, Appearance and Personalization.

An easier way to get to them is: Press the Windows Logo Key+R and enter %appdata% (followed by pressing the OK button).
