I cannot get anyone else to talk to me. I have compared the 2 paintings. I have used the key tools and have been in 505 506 and 507. I have the wedding ring in inventory and glass shards. I have drawn a picture of suspect but can't get anyone to look at it except Malet and he always says "Nah." I think I see the suspect sitting in the bistro but not sure. Have seen the psychiatrist, police, hotel receptionist, bartender, the eccentric woman and of course the bistro bartender and Malet. No one will talk to me anymore. I am at a loss. I have called the lady (my employer) several times, she is not in. HELP!

Yup, Bert is right. If you get the correct drawing - a whole new set of possibilities opens.

I am again stuck in Post Mortem. I am at the numbered ring puzzle (I have done the alchemy chemical puzzle). I have fastened the clamps and have the top 3 and bottom 3 wheels turned as it says in the wt. But the words below are unintelligible. I had messed around with them earlier. Does this mean that I have to go back to a save before I messed with them or can I forge ahead and fix this from where I am. I'm thinking that when I get it right I will be transported to my studio. Thanks for any help.

Hi Doris,

Double check that you have clicked-placed down all clamps.

Check that the top letters entered are from top (outer ring) to bottom (inner ring)- A, D, N.

Check that the bottom numbers entered are from top (inner ring) to bottom (outer ring) - 5, 3, 1.

Yes - There should be a cut scene after correctly doing this which will as you say be transported to the studio.

I would think that as you say to just go back to a saved game to be sure that you do the necessary things steps.

Good luck!

What about the left hand side of the puzzle, I messed with that before I got the other 2 correct. Coud that be causing my problem? Could anyone tell me where they stood before I messed them up?

Hi Doris,

The left side of the book is just for information. That is where you get the solution to enter on the right side-clamped rings of the book.

no, no. I am referring to the left clamp. I played with that b4 I knew what I was doing. I am wondering if that is why it won't work for me even tho I have all the letters and numbers in top and bottom clamp in correct postion. Does anyong know where it SHOULD be set? Thanks, don't give up on me. wave

Hi Doris,

Can't remember where left clamp is supposed to be set - just don't touch it anymore!

Er.. might be best to start back on a saved game prior to this and to be sure that no incorrect action was done. Hopefully after doing it 'clean' you can progress.

Hahaha - nope won't give up! lol
