This game is trying to drive me crazy! Every so often I have to use task manager to shut it down and now my cursor is goofy looking.

Anyway, that's not why I'm here. I have been in this same area for hours today and hours yesterday. I have progressed but I think I've gone as far as I will be able to without a NUDGE.

I'm at the area with the Gorfina and Steve/Pete. I need sugar for cookies. I need somehow to scale a wall. I need some golden ticket and/or a key.

Do you need more info?

Thanks.

Sugar - maybe use something that looks like sugar.
Scale the wall - This is the wall across the reception desk, right? If so - you can make steps then.
Golden ticket-key - Look around Steve's place and see something that will help you make one.

Tell me if you need more specific answer.

Thanks MaG. Taking a little break so I can go back in fresher. Yes, this is the area I'm in.

I know what will make the tickets golden but not how to execute it. And I know there are loose bricks but I can't move them with my bare hands. Haven't see anything that looks like sugar.

Let me look around some more after I watch my tv program that comes on in 20 minutes. Maybe I'll see it better then.

Has Steve thrown a tantrum already?

Anything golden around there?

I don't think Steve has thrown a tantrum and I don't know how to make him. He stops me from playing music but is not doing anything else. I have a feeling that's the key to the rest of it.

What am I missing?

He should have thrown something for you to pick up. Talk to him again after you do the inner courtyard.

The rolling pin? I have that. I've talked to him in both areas. Him and Pete. In the mirror and the shield.

Okay - now you have an item that will solve one of your questions above.

OMG! I know I used that rolling pin on the bricks but just not the right ones apparently.

Thank you so much! Am moving on!

Okay, so I de-petrified every one and got the wind going. I kissed Laura and she decked me. "Totally worth it." Then my screen goes black but there is still music. Nothing I can do, no credits or anything.

Is this the end of the game or am I missing something?

Thanks MaG. It didn't say the end and doesn't let me go back to the menu or anything. That's why I wasn't sure.

Better game than I thought it was going to be.

Hi Oldbroad,
The same thing happened to me as well. I had a black screen, but just for the heck of it, I did the Alt+Control+Delete thing and the main menu came on. I tried it twice and the same thing occurred.

Thanks Sandy. Yes, I had done Alt Tab so I could get to GB here and post and when I went back to the game it was at the menu. This was the second time I played the ending. The first time I ended up using the Windows key and shutting the game down through Task Manager.

Even though it appeared to be the end of the game I just wanted to make sure I hadn't missed anything.
