window 8 doesn't have freecell, minesweeper, soilataire or spider soilitaire can i download the xp verison and put it on my window 8 i miss it, sorry about my spelling. cool

The new full screen atrocities Microsoft offers aren't the same at all of course.
There are ways of transferring the older versions from a computer with a previous version of Windows -- not super hard to do, but not everyone wants to go searching for the files.

However most people are probably better off finding a pay version of the games that you enjoy and which have more configuration options than the ugly, bloated "Metro style" things offered by Microsoft.
