BFG is having a great sale today. I loaded up my cart and in my excitement I forgot to put the discount code in before I hit "place order". I contacted them right away.

Has anyone else ever done this? Do you think they'll credit me for the discount amount?

I'm pretty sure they will give you a game code for your error. THey can't really play with the money end of it but they can give you a game code.

Thanks for your response Ana. Unfortunately a game code won't satisfy me as I purchased a LOT of games. I can't afford them without that discount.

It's a mistake that could happen to anyone. I'll be interested to hear how it's resolved. It's a great sale today, for sure.

So, they cancelled the whole order and refunded the full amount.

This works for me EXCEPT I hope it won't cause a problem when I try to re-order them. (It was 10 games! Too much money at one time for full price.)

Hopefully, I will not do that again.

FYI, yesterday's discount code was still working a couple of hours ago, so why don't you try reordering and see what happens.

Thanks for the info Susie07 but I think I'll wait for the next sale.

Today, I received another email from them with coupon codes for each of the games I had ordered so that I can re-order them at the discounted price. I was just going to wait for the sale to come around again but I guess I don't have to now.

I'll have to try one out first to make sure there is no problem with it since in my purchase history it lists all of the games and next to the names it says "download not available".

Something to do tomorrow.
