Did she say - Phoenix says to 'fix it fast' after you did the wood relief puzzle?

Are you doing it this way?
Click-hold 1 cup on water and then click measured water on bowl. Click-hold 1/2 cup on water and click measured water on bowl.
Click-hold 1/2 cup on sugar and then click the measured sugar on bowl.
Click 1 tablespoon on lemon and then click it on bowl. Repeat to get 2 tablespoon of lemon in bowl.
Take bowl and click it on microwave.

Robert,

Did you do what Rushes posted earlier?
Robert, did you close-up examine the instruction leaflet that tells you how to prepare the mixture? You should have picked this up from Arnett's salon earlier in the game. The bowl and sugar etc. might not become active until you've checked it.

When the mixture is ready for the microwave, all you need to do is pick up the bowl with the mixture and click it on the microwave, as MaG said in her post above. It should automatically heat the mixture. Be careful not to accidentally discard the contents, otherwise you'll have to start over again.

I'm not sure as to what the problem here might be, robert.

Are you able to pick up the bowl? Try moving your cursor around the bowl area if you can't find the hotspot to take it.

Once you have the bowl on your cursor, you can click the bowl directly on the microwave.

If the mixture doesn't turn out right, then you need to double check the ingredients that you add to a new bowl, and make sure you are using the correct measuring utensils.

luck

Just as you enter the main room, see if you can either move across or get a close-up of the wall along the right side. The pipes are close to the floor. I can't recall for sure if you'll need to move a little forward first. Try and see. luck

Carpe Diem is located in the Pyramid. It's triggered by a conversation in the cafe with Sandra where you both discuss DeVille -- assuming you have already spoken with DeVille at his apartment.

hi Rushes. Pierre de Villes's house. Phoenix reports his handgun to ballistics lab. all the locations on the navigation map are closed and oldmariner's walkthrough doesn't say where to go next. any advice please? robert.

Is there nowhere else in the Pyramid that you can go, to talk to people? How about the Thing Store?

Have you checked your journal to see if there's anything written in red there that you can do?

If you've spoken to everyone that you can for the day, and they won't talk to you anymore, waiting until the next day will allow you to speak to them again. (Unless their locations are permanently greyed out now.)

If it's mid to late-afternoon, you can go to the gym (in the Pyramid) to kill time, or even go to your office and write up your report for the day. Once it's close to seven in the evening, you can go out to any night-time locations in the Pyramid if they're available, or see Sandra (if she called you), or just go to bed. Next day, you should be able to speak to more people.

This is from the guide:
After getting the circuit board - Go back to the left and exit the cafeteria.
Go back to the shaft and right to the end of the straight rail track. It ends at a rail car in front of a dark opening. Go back to the Grand Shaft.
Go right to the fenced in area and see a control panel on a stand.

From the walkthrough:
Go back to the shaft and right to the end of the straight rail track. It ends at a rail car in front of a dark opening. Go back to the Grand Shaft for another puzzle to light that dark passageway.
Go right to the fenced in area that is in the large circular area called the Grand Shaft. See a control panel on a stand.

Phoenix is transported to an abandoned mine.
Look straight and click the ancient locomotive. Go beside it and take the lever.
Go forward to the mine entrance and pick up the funnel on the ground right of the chimney.
Go close to the mine entrance and see that it is dark in there. We need light.

Go back to the fence area, go right and see the sleeping barracks with a Russian sign.
Go right of the sleeping barracks and pick up the wire by the destroyed stone wall.
Go back left of the area by following the wire fence.
Far behind another sleeping barracks is a destroyed building with exposed beams.
Enter that destroyed building and pick up the full gas canister.
